Richie Tozier is an asshole. He is a womanizer. Which is typical for a 17 year old male who is as hot as he his.

Every girl in school throws themselves at him, not even caring about how sexist he is.

I do admit he's enticing, and seductive, but I have self control. And self respect. He is not getting me.

I walked into school with my sister, Beverly.

"Hey, you wanna go to the quarry with me and the guys after school today?" She asked me.

"Yeah sure, this summer is going to be amazing." I smiled.

"Maybe you and Richie will finally fuck." She giggled.

"Bev, you know I think he's a asshole. He doesn't know how to treat women." I stared factually.

"According to half the girls here he knows exactly how to treat a woman." She smiled at me jokingly.

"Exactly. He's a whore."

"Ladies," Richie walked behind us.

"Richard."

"Don't call me that babe."

"Not your babe." I rolled my eyes.

"You're the one girl in this whole school who acts like she doesn't want me. But they all give in eventually." He said in his 'sexy voice'

"Goodbye Richard." I walked off, leaving him and my sister behind.

After school I changed into my bathing suit. It was blue with stripes.

As Bev and I walked up to the boys at the top of the cliff, Richie was staring at me

As Bev and I walked up to the boys at the top of the cliff, Richie was staring at me. I pretended not to notice.

I walked past him and sat next to Stan.

"Hey B-Bev, y/n." Bill greeted us first.

"Hey Billy. Why aren't y'all swimming? To scared to jump in?" I teased.

"N-no, we w-were waiting for y-you g-guys."

I smiled.

"Well were here. Who's going first?" Bev asked.

None of the boys offered.

I sighed.

"I guess I have to show them how it's done." I smiled and stood up, sliding my shorts off, setting them down in the bag next to Richie, then took my shirt off.

He stared.

"Close your mouth Richard. You'll catch flies."

I walked over to the edge, hearing laughter.

I jumped in, doing a back flip.

When I resurfaced, I was smiling, as I heard cheering and clapping above me.

Bev jumped in next.

"I'm gonna go back up and jump again, you coming?" She asked.

"Yeah." We swam out and ran back uphill.

Richie has yet to jump, as have Eddie and Ben.

Richies shirt was now off. He's ripped.

He caught me staring and smiled.

"Like what you see."

I scoffed "as if." I lied completely.

Bev and I pushed Eddie and Ben in, laughing, then she jumped in.

Richie was up here with me, alone.

He was staring at me, so I stared back.

"Richard." I broke the silence.

"Stop calling me that."

"Or what?" I smiled playfully

"Or I'll have no choice but to push you in." He slowly walked towards me.

"Can't push me if I jump." I teased.

"I'll get you back one way or another y/n. I promise."

I smiled and laughed a little.

He looked shocked at first. He's never made me laugh.

He lunged forward and pushed me over the edge. I screamed in excitement and plunged into the water.

I started swimming up, but something was keeping me from surfacing. Fishing line or something.

I held my breath instead of freaking out. I tried getting the line off, but it just cut
Into my leg.

I screamed, causing water to fill my lungs.

I saw bubbles all around me and then I blacked out.

When I came to, I felt a pair of lips on mine, and coughed up water, sitting up.

"Holy shit." Bev let out a breath.

I continued coughing.

"Are you okay?" Ben asked frantically.

"Y-Yeah. Just cold."

I felt a towel wrap around me. I hugged Eddie, as he was on my left.

"Thank you for saving my life."

"Actually Richie is the one who-" Edie started.

"Pushed you in." Richie interrupted, eyes wide.

The others looked confused, but quickly turned their attention to me.

"You should take her home." Richie told Bev.

She slowly nodded and helped me up.

I sat on a rock and Bev went up to grab our stuff.

I was shivering.

"Hug her bro, warm her up. She's shaking." Mike suggested to Richie.

He sighed and put his arms around me, hugging me.

"It's okay Richard, you don't have to. I know I made you mad-

"No you didn't. I wasn't mad." He pulled away. "Not at you."

"What do you mean?" I asked.

I coughed a little more.

"I'm gonna go home. I'll see you guys later." He started walking away and the guys followed after him, except Eddie who stayed with me.

"Thanks for saving me, again. You're probably the only one in the group who knows CPR so I guess it makes sense."

"Actually-"

Bev came down.

"Where'd the others go?"

"Home." I replied.

"Alright. Well we should get going then." Bev replied.

As I stood up, I kissed Eddie on the cheek.

He got bright red.

Little did I know, a certain black haired boy was watching from the bushes.
