When I woke up this morning, I didn't think I'd be falling in love.

"So can you fix my phone?" I asked Caleb.

The other four girls and I were standing in the empty hallway with Caleb Rivers: cute tech guy.

"For something in return." He replies.

"Money? How much?"

"No. Not money. I want a kiss."

"A kiss?"

"Yep. I don't care who from."

I looked at the girls, asking them, without saying anything.

"Ugh, I'll do it." Aria stepped up.

"No, it's my phone. I'll do it."

I got in front of him and kissed him for a little longer than expected.

"Y/n... y/n!" Hanna grabbed my shoulder.

"Oh. Right. Sorry."

I blushed.

He smiled and took my phone.

"I'll give it back after school."

"Okay."

We walked away.

"What was that?" Spencer asked.

"He's a good kisser." I defended myself.

"He's a pig." She told me.

"I don't know, he's kind of cute. I say go for it." Aria helped me. Aria has always been my favorite. She would comfort me when Alison was being a bitch.

Though I do miss Alison a lot. Despite being mean, and making me feel stupid, she was a fun person and I loved her.

"I- I think I'm gonna go to the public library and skip school today. I'm sorry." I grabbed my bag out of my locker and left.

I went to the library, got a book, then went to the coffee shop.

Once I saw the time was 2:30, I got up, and walked out of the store.

I instinctively reached into my purse for my phone, and ran into someone.

They caught me before I fell.

I saw Caleb standing above me,  sun glowing behind him, making him look like an angel.

My breath hitches in my throat.

"You gotta slow down there, never know who you'll run into." He lifted me up and I stared at him.

"Are you okay? Are you suddenly mute?" He asked with a small chuckle.

"Angel-" I muttered idiotically.

"No, it's Caleb."

My eyes widened.

"Oh, uh. My bad." I was suddenly very nervous around him.

I was acting like a total girl!

I was blushing, smiling, and giggling! I don't giggle!

"Are you okay? Should I take you to the hospital? I think you hit your head..."

I'm making this weird.

"You're a great kisser!" I blurted out.

He smiled and scoffed.

"Thanks. So are you. You wanna grab dinner later?"

"Yes." I smiled.

"Cool."

He handed me my phone. "Here you go, beautiful."

When he walked away, I felt happy.

"What the hell just happened?" I asked myself.

I called aria.

"Y/n, hi! What's up?"

"Hahahaha so funny thing, I have a date with Caleb tonight."

I explained what had just happened and she sounded excited.

"Y/n and Caleb sitting in a tree, K I S S I N G."

"Shh!! Aria!" I chuckled slightly.

For dinner, we went to the grille and it was so nice.

"So who's A?" Caleb asked.

I almost choked on my pasta.

"What?" I said through coughs.

"You got a text from A. 'Call off your techno-boy-toy or I tell the cops what your brother keeps in the basement.'"

"You read my texts?"

"It was kinda hard not to. It popped up and I couldn't not read it. I texted back telling them to fuck off."

I sighed and put my hands in my face.

"Caleb, you have no idea what you just did."I sighed.

I felt tears coming on.

A is going to literally kill me.

I looked up at him, grabbed my purse, threw down $20 and frantically walked out of the restaurant.

Caleb followed me to the park.

"Who the hell is A, y/n?" He asked once more.

"It's nobody, Caleb. Just aria playing a prank on me." I lied.

"You wouldn't be crying over a stupid prank-"

"Caleb drop it!" I yelled at him.

I took deep breaths, trying to calm myself down.

I sat down on a bench, and he sat next to me.

He put his arm around me and I cried into him.

"Alison made me feel so stupid just because I'm dyslexic." I finally said after a few minutes.

"Alison? The dead girl?"

"She was one of my best friends, Caleb."

"Friends don't make you feel this way, y/n. Friends are supposed to make you happy, and laugh. Friends tell you that you're insanely beautiful and intelligent, because you try your hardest at everything you do."

"You just met me."

"I've seen you around. We have English together."

"We do?"

"Yeah. I sit in the back."

I looked at him.

"Thank you, Caleb." I hugged him.

"You're welcome."

We looked at each other's faces in the moonlight.

I felt better immediately.

"Caleb..."

"Yeah?"

"You're single right."

"Yeah..."

I pressed my lips against his and kissed him once more.

"I don't know why, but I already feel something for you that I didn't feel with anyone else."

"Yeah, So do I."

I smiled. "Take me home, please."

He nodded.

We walked to my house. My brother was likely at his friends house.

"Do you wanna come in?" I asked. "To watch a movie. Not have sex. That's too fast."

"Yes."

"Okay."
