Working for Tony Stark is without a doubt the best job ever.

"Here is your coffee, Mr.Stark." I placed Tony's coffee down in front of him.

"Do you want anything Mr. Banner?"

"Bruce, and just a bottle of water please." I smiled and nodded my head. "I'll be back in a minute."

I walked out of the room and to the kitchen. I saw Natasha and Clint stop talking when I walked into the room. As I grabbed a bottle of water, Mat spoke up.

"Y/n, can you do me a favor and give this envelope to Banner. It's urgent."

"Yes ma'am, I'm headed there now."

She smiled and I took the envelope and went back down the the lab. I noticed tony was gone and so was Bruce.

I set the water bottle and envelope down and walked over to his station. I examined all the papers that were laid out lazily. I picked one up and started reading it.

Subject:Y/n

Day 1: Y/n is by far the most difficult subject to get through to. While she is friendly and does as asked, she doesn't communicate with us outside of work.

Day 2: Y/n wore red today. Red is the color of attraction. Is she trying to get someone to notice her? Or is it coincidental?

Day 14: Y/n seems to avoid me. Does she know I'm studying her? Or does she just not like me? And why does the thought of her not liking me, bother me?

Day 18: y/n's new look is uncharacteristic. She is wearing all black today, but it still flatters her, proving that no matter what she wears, she is stunning.

Day 19:

Is today day 19?

I don't know whether I'm creeped out or happy at how much he notices me.

I put the paper back and waited for Bruce to come back.

Once he did, he stopped for a moment, then slowly walked over.

"Have you been waiting this whole time?" He asked while grabbing the paper and covering it up.

"Y-yes. Natasha told me to give you this envelope. She said it was urgent so I didn't want to just leave it out by itself." I handed him the envelope and when our hands touched it shocked us.

He opened the envelope and I stood up to leave.

"Wait, are you sure this is what Natasha gave you?"

I walked back over to him and the desk.

"Yeah. All she said is that it was urgent. So I figured it was classified."

"So you didn't see it?"

I scrunched my eyebrows together and took the paper from his hands.

It was a drawing of me but I was ugly.

I crumpled it up and threw it away without saying anything.

"Have a good day, Bruce." I gave him a small smile and left the room.

I saw Peter walking towards me.

"Hey y/n. How are you?" He asked.

"I don't understand why they keep messing with me. It's been almost three weeks since I started working here and they still haven't stopped." I felt bad for dumping my shit on Peter, he's so nice and caring.

"Have you talked to Mr.Stark?"

"No, he would just fire me. I'm replaceable they aren't."

"You're not replaceable, y/n. Everything you do holds this team together. Without you nobody would know what to do, mission reports wouldn't get to us on time."

I hugged peter and wiped my tears eyes.

"Thank you. That's why you're my favorite avenger."

"I'm above Bruce?" He asked happily.

"Why do you think Bruce would be my favorite?"

"You guys act like the couples at my school. Always looking at each other when you're not looking, you guys sometimes work close in the lab."

"I-I do not like Banner if that's what your saying."

"Come on y/n! Don't forget I have spidey senses. I know everything."

I narrowed my eyes at him. Then lightened up.

I do get nervous around him and I do think he's attractive. And he is so smart.

"I like Banner... oh my god I like Banner. I-I have to quit. I can't work with him anymore. It's going to be so awkward."

"Hey, it's alright. Please don't quit you're the nicest person here."

"Yeah. Yeah. That's over dramatic. I don't have to quit I just can't be around-"

"Bruce! I mean Mr. Banner." Peter interrupted me and I looked behind me. There was Banner.

I turned and stood beside peter while avoiding looking at Bruce.

"Uh y/n, can I talk to you for a moment?"

"Um. Yeah. Bye peter. Thank you."

We walked back to his lab and he shut the door.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

"Yeah I'm fine." My eyes were glued to the floor.

"Good good. Cause that drawing is so unrealistic."

I made the mistake of looking at him from across the desk.

"It's not just the drawing Bruce! You study me every day and you just conveniently don't notice your teammates bully me?"

"So you did see that. It's just a thing I do with new people."

I didn't reply to him so he continued. "How long have you known?"

"Today. When I was waiting on you."

"I'm sorry, it's just a precaution."

"Who am I going to hurt Bruce!? I'm 105 pounds and 5 foot 3!"

"You could've been with hydra!"

"You think I'm with Hydra!? What the hell!"

"I just thought that you were too good to be true. You had to be a spy because there's no way you're this beautiful AND nice!" I could tell he was getting angry with me.

"Hey, it's okay just sit down." I walked over and put my hand on his shoulder, sitting him down in his seat.

"We're okay, I'm not mad, you shouldn't be either." I talked calmly.

"And that! You know exactly how to calm me down!"

"Dammit Bruce if I was hydra I wouldn't be calming you down right now. Is it even working?"

"I don't know!" He yelled back.

His skin started turning green.

"Bruce look at me." I put my hands on his jaw and rubbed my thumb across his cheeks. "Bruce."

He wasn't responding, only turning greener.

"Get out!" He mumbled, and then yelled it.

I pulled his lips onto mine and kissed him passionately before pulling away.

I noticed the green was now gone and Bruce was back.

"S-sorry. It was the only-"

He pulled me back into his lips and smiled.

"You're definitely not hydra."

"I told you, asshole." I laughed.
