This morning, when I walked outside, I saw one of the worst things possible.

I saw my cat, getting attacked by two neighborhood dogs.

I yelled at them and kicked them away, they ran.

Leaving my cat laying in the grass.

I ran over to her.

She didn't look good, her leg was clearly broken and she was hissing at me.

"Sh, baby it's okay, come on." i ran in, got a towel, and ran back out, picking her up and carrying her inside.

I laid her on the towel, on my couch.

"Doodle, please, I need you." I cried.

I called the emergency vet and they came over to my house.

I could tell that they noticed who I was, but they didn't say anything.

After doing some tests and stuff, they concluded that she wouldn't survive, and it would be best to end her pain by putting her down.

I helped and called my mom, but she didn't answer. She's on a plane to DC right now.

"M-mom. Some neighborhood dogs attacked Doodle this morning and I c-called the emergency vet and they said it's best to just put her d-down." I broke down crying. "So call me when you land please, I'm. I love you."

Doodle Has been my cat since I was 5 years old. That's 11 years.

I said my goodbye to my cat and pet her as they injected her with some kind of fluid, that I'm assuming would kill her.

I was crying, so much.

"I love you so much, Doodle."

She licked my hand, and then went limp.

"I'm so sorry Y/n." One of the vets spoke, hugging me.

I cried on her shoulder.

"D-Do you have kids?" I asked.

"Yeah. One. She loves your show." She replied sadly.

I grabbed one of my posters and signed it.

"Thank you for coming so quickly." I wiped my tears away.

"It's my job. Again. I'm so sorry."

They both left and I called Matt Duffer with shaky hands.

He answered.

"Y/n, filming starts in an hour where are you?"

"S-Sorry Matt, I cant come in today. I just... I had to put d-down my cat. Some dogs attacked her and the v-vet said she wasn't going to make it s-so I had to."

I cried even more.

"Oh god, I am so sorry y/n, take today and tomorrow off."

I heard Noah's voice on the other end.

"Is that y/n?" He asked.

"Tell him no. I don't want him to hear me or see me crying." I told Matt.

"No, it's an old friend." He lied for me.

"Thank you Matt. I have to go now. I should probably b-bury her." I sniffled.

"Okay. I'll check in later."

"Okay. Thank you."

I hung up the phone, and took off my cardigan.

I grabbed a box and picked her up, she was still slightly warm.

I kissed her head and laid her down.
