Noah and I walked downstairs and sat on the couch, he put his arm around me and I scooted closer to him, laying my head down on his chest. His hand was on my thigh.

We started the movie and halfway through, during a scary part, the door busted open, making us all scream.

Gaten and Caleb laughed.

"Shit, we got you so good." Gaten said.

I unclenches Noah's shirt, and apologized to him.

"It's okay, I love how I provide you comfort."

I smiled. "Yeah." I kissed his cheek. "Thank you for being here with me. It means a lot."

"I'd never leave you, especially when you're sad."

"Can I come in yet losers?" Finn asked.

"One second!" Gaten yelled at him.

"Why is Finn outside?"

"Because we got you something. Because you deserve it."

Finn came in holding his hands behind his back.

"Y/n, meet... he doesn't have a name yet... but meet him."

He pulled out a small, black kitten.

"Awe. He's so cute." I held him.

"We know that he could never replace Doodle, but we figured that you could use another pet, for when you're alone at the house, or just to be around." Caleb spoke.

I stood up and hugged Finn.

"Thank you!"

I hugged Gaten and Caleb next.

"Actually. It was Noah's idea, he texted me when he went upstairs to get your hoodie."

I handed the kitten to Sadie and Millie.

I ran and jumped next to Noah.

"Noah!!!" I wrapped my arms around him and hugged him tight.

"Hey, no fair, my hug wasn't that tight." Gaten complained jokingly.

I got off Noah.

"Awe, thank you Gaten." I hugged him tight, and then Caleb tight.

"What about us?" Millie asked.

I hugged them too.

"thank you guys. You guys are the best."

I glanced at the tv screen and saw it was paused on Finn screaming. We all laughed.

"What are you gonna name him?"

I thought for a minute.

"Dart." I cuddled him.

After hours of watching movies, and an appearance by joe and Natalia, who left later on, most everybody was asleep.

The kitten was eating some food In the kitchen, where Doodle used to eat.

I had showed her earlier where the litter box was and she seemed to understand.

My eyes started getting heavy, so I snuggled up to Noah even more, if possible.

"Are you falling asleep too?" He whispered.

"Yeah. It's almost 2 am."

I looked at all the bodies of my friends laying asleep on my other couch, Gaten in our recliner, and Caleb on the floor in a sleeping bag.

"It's crowded in here. I probably won't be going to sleep anytime soon with Millie's snoring." He laughed quietly, as did I.

"We can go sleep in my bed if you want?" I suggested.

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah. It's warmer up there too, I know you can't sleep if it's cold."

"Okay." He smiled.

We slowly got up and creeped upstairs to my room, we left the door cracked just so the others don't get too suspicious.

We laid down in my bed and I rested my head on his chest, and our legs tangled together.

I listened to his heart beat quicken.

"You're my favorite person, Noah. Thank you for today. It took my mind off of doodle for a bit."

"You're welcome baby girl." He kissed my head.

I smiled. "So I'm baby girl, now."

"If you want to be..."

"I do. I really do."

"Cool. Goodnight baby girl." He whispered.

"Goodnight, Handsome."

With that, we fell asleep in my bed, cuddling.

The next morning we woke up to our friends taking pictures of us and posting them on Instagram saying 'look at the cute couple' and 'Guys it finally happened!'
