After receiving that last bit of information from Connor, Jordan stormed off, back to his place, not ready to face Dahlia.
He'd never really thought about the fact that she could've moved on during the time they weren't together, and thinking about her and Connor together could potentially cause him to blow up, something he didn't want to do in front of Dahlia.
So, instead of rushing over to her place like he was planning, Jordan went home instead. He lied and told Dahlia he was tired and that he'd see her in the morning.
It was the last weekend before the semester started, and with no practice, Jordan and Dahlia were going to spend every second together.

Dahlia bounced over to the door, excited to spend the entire day with Jordan. Kat and Marcus had gone down to the pool and she and Jordan were planning on meeting them down there.
As she opened the door to greet Jordan, they both spoke at the same time.
"Hi, baby!"
"Did you hook up with Connor?"

Dahlia cocked her head back as her face contorted in confusion. It's like she had to replay what Jordan had just asked her.
"Wait, huh?"
Jordan sighed, not wanting to repeat the question that had been gnawing at him the past ten or so hours, but he knew he needed an answer, so he asked again.
"Did you hook up with Connor when-- when we were broken up?"
If Jordan hadn't been so ashamed to ask the question that he hung his head, he would've seen the look of devastation on Dahlia's face.
