Dahlia knew there was only one day left until Spring Break. She knew she only had three more classes that day, but after seeing Jordan with that girl, she didn't think she'd be able to save face for the rest of the afternoon.
As she rushed back to her dorm that earlier than expected, Dahlia felt like everything was now some sick joke on her, seeing the boy she still loved with someone else.
She had never felt so broken... so alone.
She felt like dying like nothing would ever make her heart feel whole again.
Once she got back to her place, Dahlia collapsed against her door, feeling like the ache of Jordan's betrayal stabbing at her heart.

After a while of feeling sorry for herself, she picked herself and began packing some things to take home for Spring Break.
She stopped and sucked in a breath, after pulling her 'Aye, He's Mine' sweatshirt out of her closet. With a bitter scoff, she shook her head.
"Just not forever."
She held it against her face and cried into it before collapsing on her bed.

The knocking on her door is what finally woke her up a few hours ago. As Dahlia sat up on her bed, she checked her phone.
5:12PM
She pulled her body out of bed and towards the door, wanting whoever was on the other side to just go away and leave her alone to rot in her own misery.
She yawned as she approached the door, wiping the door from the corner of her mouth before she reached for the door handle.
