You guys, I'm so excited... I get to go see Daddy at work today! Me and Mommy flew in a plane yesterday with Grams and Papa and we got to stay in a big hotel.

"I'm just nervous

"I'm just nervous. I can't believe it's all happening so soon."

As I sat in the backseat of a big, black car, in between Mommy and Grams, everybody's still talking about Daddy.

His job is playing football, and today he's playing in a big bowl. We were watching tv last week and they talked about Daddy going to the bowl for three years, and how he's the youngest person to do it.

But...Daddy's old!

I've never been to a bowl before, but Mommy said we can have snacks and watch Daddy, and that sounds like a pretty great day to me.

Daddy's my favorite guy in the whole wide world, and he always will be.

We're up in a really cool room watching Daddy play.

Mommy was right. There's snacks... everywhere!

I couldn't decide between a cupcake or a cookie and Mommy said I had to choose, so I got a cupcake that had Daddy's number on it, and it was really, really yummy!

I was standing by the glass watching Daddy play from way up high-- he looked like an ant down there, it was funny.

Everybody started cheering loud and I looked up at the tv, to see my Daddy get hit. The weirdest part was after everybody in the big room started cheering. I ran over to Mommy, and begged her to pick me up.

"Bunny, what's wrong, baby?"

"Daddy got hurt."

I buried my face in Mommy's neck when I heard the ladies she was talking to all start to chuckle and ask if I was okay.

Mommy pat my back and told me to look at the tv.

When I did, I saw Daddy with his helmet off, smiling-- and I sighed, knowing he was okay.

"Okay, Mommy. You can put me down now."

The ladies all laughed again a little harder this time as Mommy gently cradled my face after setting me down.

"Yeah, she's definitely a Daddy's girl."

When I got back to my spot at the window, two little boys were standing there, watching intently.

"Uhm.. hi. I was watching here before. Can I watch with you?"

The first little boy's blue eyes were the first thing I noticed. They were so clear and bright, they reminded me of bluebird eggs.

He looked over at me and gave me a weird smile before the older boy, whose even icier blue eyes seemed almost white, glared at me.

"No. go watch somewhere else."

The younger blue-eyed boy's blonde hair whipped over as he looked at the older boy.

"Tristan, that's mean."

Tristan turned and looked back down at the game, and could only stand there for a second before I wanted to cry. My chin quivered and I ran back over to Mommy, adjusted her #8 jersey before crouching down to look at me.

"Bunny, what's wrong?"

She looked up at the tv and saw Daddy in the middle of a huddle.

"Daddy's okay."

I shook my head, not knowing how to explain to Mommy how little Nate made me feel.

At this point, I just wanted Daddy.

After what felt like forever later, I finally got to see Daddy. He was all sweaty still in his jersey, but I didn't care. I missed him all day!

Even when all the flashes went off and with all the people around us yelling Daddy's name, all that mattered was I had him and he had me.

Mommy handed me to him after giving him a kiss and they flashed made it seem like it was still daytime!

He was even sweaty and gross, but that's my Daddy!

After a while, all the flashing and yelling got to be too much and I was getting tired, so Daddy whispered in my ear that we'd get to leave soon.

"Just hold out for a little while longer, okay, Bunny?"

I yawned and nodded into the crook of his neck before another reporter asked what Daddy was planning on doing next.

"Gonna take my wife and baby girl, and we're going to Disneyworld!"

Suddenly, sleep was the last thing on my mind.
