It had been a long few weeks, but now that everything was finally perfect, Dahlia sat back on the couch with Kat, as the boys rummaged in the kitchen.
Kat took a look around the living room before over at Dahlia with a playful smirk on her face.
"Ya know-- with the rate you two move-- I don't know if I should get used to this place or not."
Dahlia's mouth dropped and she gently smacked Kat's arm just as the boys emerged from the kitchen, with drinks and snacks.
"Very funny, bitch. You and Marcus have moved too, so, hush. Besides, Jordan promised we don't have to move again."
Jordan nodded as he took a seat on the sofa next to Dahlia, gently gripping her knee.
"Promise, Doll. You guys saw how security was when you got here..."
Jordan paused, letting Kat and Marcus roll their eyes, remembering how they needed clearance just to get into the gated community.
"... there's no way I'm letting another paparazzi asshole think it's okay to just run up and harass my wife."
Jordan wrapped an arm around Dahlia's waist, pulling her closer and resting his other hand on her belly.
As he took a look around the room, Marcus smirked then chuckled out loud as he shook his head.
"What, babe?"
Marcus shook his head and kissed Kat's temple, before settling back into his seat.
"It's just wild to think about. Most people our age are out partyin' and hookin' up, and then look at us-- playing Game of Thrones Clue on a Saturday, all married and boring. Who would've thought we'd all end up like this?"
Jordan gently rubbed Dahlia's belly again and smiled into her hair before he pulled back and looked over at Marcus.
"Man, I always knew."
Kat gushed, watching how delicate Jordan was with Dahlia.
"And now, you two are gonna be parents?! Ughh, I can't wait to spoil that little girl. Just a couple of more months, and she'll be here."
Jordan felt a kick under his hand and smiled, thinking about how his baby girl knew they were talking about her. He looked over at Dahlia who smiled and nodded, feeling this was the perfect time to do what they had been talking about for the past few weeks.
"Speaking of spoiling her, Jordan and I were wondering..."
"Yeah...?"
Kat's eyebrows raised in curiosity as Jordan and Dahlia both sat straight up, excitedly-hopeful smiles on their face.
"Will you guys be her godparents?"
The four were all on their feet a moment later, and as Marcus and Kat both excitedly accepted, Kat and Dahlia both had tears in their eyes.
"Of course, Lia. I can't wait to spoil my little.."
Kat's crying subsided and she sniffled as she looked at her friends in confusion.
"Wait... what are you guys gonna name her?"
