"And a crown for Princess Sunny-Bunny."

As Jordan adjusted the tiara headband on his daughter's head, Sunny stretched her arms up, smiling up at her father with the four front teeth she had.

"Dada, tuh...tuh!"

Jordan kissed his sweet girl's cheek before grabbing her stuffed turtle from the counter.

Sunny's favorite movie was Finding Nemo and after figuring out that she liked Crush the turtle the most, Jordan went out and bought every single stuffed turtle he could find.

As Dahlia watched her husband doting over their daughter, she smirked and rolled her eyes.

"Another one? Jordy, that's like the third turtle you've gotten her this week. She has enough."

Jordan turned back to his wife, his pout matching the one his daughter usually gives him.

"But, Doll...it's her birthday. She had to get one today."

Jordan turned back to Sunny in her highchair and booped her nose before kissing it.

"Isn't that right, birthday girl? Today, Daddy's gonna give you whatever you want."

Dahlia shook her head again and smiled.

"When don't you give her whatever she wants?"

"Happy Birthday, Dear Sunny. Happy birthday to you!"

As everyone in the backyard cheered, Dahlia and Jordan both left a bunch of kisses all over Sunny's face. The one-year-old squealed and grabbed Jordan's head, patting it as he took Sunny from Dahlia and began tickling her.

"Happy birthday, Bunny."

"You guys really went all out for Babygirl's first birthday."

Marcus and Jordan were standing on the deck overlooking Jordan and Dahlia's backyard, watching all of the escapades at the one-year-old's party.

The princess-themed party had everything from face painters to a bounce house and even princesses.

"Yeah, man. I mean-- even though Sunny is a baby and won't remember any of this-- I had to do something special. This day last year-- was almost the worst day of my life-- I thought I had lost everything."

A smile found Jordan's face when he paused, catching sight of Sunny in Dahlia's arms, enthralled by the princess' wand. As she reached up for it, the princess handed her the wand, letting Sunny wave it around.

"But then... I didn't. This day could've been way different for me, and I never wanna take them for granted. And as far as Sunny not remembering any of this..."

Jordan guided Marcus's shoulder around and pointed out to the videographers in the background.

"She'll get to see it all, one day."

Marcus looked over, seeing the full smile on Jordan's face as he stared out at his wife and daughter. He'd always admired the way Jordan had taken on the role of a father and he could tell how much he loved his girls.

"I can only imagine what you guys are gonna do next year."
