"Baby, trust me... I'd rather be spending Thanksgiving with you too, okay?"

Jordan pouted on Dahlia's bed as he watched her packing for Thanksgiving break. He was staying back on campus for the Rivalry Game against UCLA and even though he probably wasn't going to play, as a part of the team, Jordan had to be there.

"So just spend it with me."

His pout was almost convincing as he grabbed her wrists and pulled her to stand between his legs. She watched as he kissed each of her fingers before placing kisses on the inside of her wrists.

"I can't, Jordy. I only agreed to go to my grandparents' for Thanksgiving so my dad would let me come with you for Winter break."

"Yeah, yeah, I know. I'm just... I'm gonna miss you, Doll."

"I'm gonna miss you too. But we've survived worse than this, remember?"

Jordan lowered his head sadly as he thought back to their senior year in high school. That feeling of not having her around was something he never wanted to experience again, but he knew he could handle a week.

He nodded before lifting his head and pouting once more.

"Gimme kiss."

Dahlia smirked and grabbed Jordan's face, dipping her head down as she kissed him deeply. He wrapped his arms around her legs, holding her in place, and when she pulled back, he looked up at her, smiling as he saw her brown eyes twinkle.

"So how is Thanksgiving in Toronto?"

"So how is Thanksgiving in Toronto?"
