One Hundred Fifty Seven

What does he mean fuck buddy?
I turned in Draco's chest and saw him slyly looking our way
I felt Draco's emotions turn bitter
So bitter

"What do you mean?" I said

"Guess I didn't make last night memorable enough for you" he said pointing to his chest and then his arms

I looked at my own under my sweater
My arm are bruised but my chest is covered in bruises too...oh Merlin they're marks from his mouth
"I-I don't remember anything from last night"

"What the fuck did you do" Draco growled

"I-I didn't—"

"Cora not you" he said looking down at me and then back at Blaise

"Fucked your girlfriend that's what I did"

That did it
Draco let me go and began throwing punches at Blaise who started hitting back
It happened so suddenly I didn't even feel Fred come over to us and pull me out of the way

Goyle grabbed Draco and Miles Bletchley grabbed Blaise
They were both bloodied up from each other, but Blaise looked worse
"What is going on here??" I heard a high pitch voice screeched

I looked around Fred and saw the newest Defense teacher marching over to us

She looked at me
"First day back and causing a fight with the boys I see" she said to me

"I-it-I didn't mean—"

"Cora don't apologize for this" Fred whispered into my ears "you didn't do anything"

"Who started this American fight?" She demanded

"Draco" Blaise said wiping his mouth

"Blaise did" I said

"Doubt it" she said looking at me again "I won't take the word of a student who can't even show up for the school year on time. Draco a week's worth of detention...Blaise dear are you ok?"

"I'm fine thank you" he said smirking at us

Draco didn't say anything to me as he was escorted to the Hospital wing by Snape who showed up after Umbridge

Umbridge looked at me again
Her face was wrinkled from years of scowling it seemed
"Detention with me tonight" she said

I looked at Blaise who began chuckling under his breath

"I don't know why you're laughing it's your detention" I said

"No it's yours" she told me

Fred looked distraught
"Why?" He demanded "she wasn't fighting"

"She caused the fight" she said fluffing out her dress "she has just as much involvement as Mr.Malfoy. She's just lucky it's only one"
Umbridge began walking away from me

Blaise got out of his seat
"My new outfit is ruined because of you" he glared at me "whore"

This time it was me who jumped on top of him and began punching
Fred didn't hold me back either, he let me defend myself
No one stepped in to take me off of him
"You fucking bastard" I said slamming my fist into his face "what did you do to me last night?!" I yelled holding his collar in my hands

"This feels familiar" he said taking his hand to touch me but I grabbed it and slammed it into the ground beside him

"Touch me again and you're going to regret it" I said trying to feel brave

"Sounds like a challenge" he said "I'm just glad you weren't a virgin it's a bigger mess to worry about in that case"

I punched him in his mouth
Hard enough that his teeth went through my knuckles
I felt someone pulling me off of him now
I went to swing at whoever it was but it was McGonagall
I pulled my fist down by my side
"What in the world has gotten into you?" She asked "Umbridge is coming back tell me right now"

I looked around and saw her storming her way back over

"He deserved it" was all I told her before Umbridge grabbed me from McGonagall's hands

"I'm going to expel you" she said holding onto my arm, tight enough her claws sunk right into my skin

"You will do no such thing. That is the Headmaster's power not yours" McGonagall said "you will serve detention with me for a week, after the one you have with her is over" I felt Fred's relief when she said that

"No she has it with me all week" she demanded

"I caught her not you, she's mine to punish" McGonagall said standing her ground "maybe you should take Blaise to the hospital wing instead of butting into business you have no need to be part in"

I held back laughing
Or at least tried to, I covered my laugh by coughing

Umbridge took Blaise gently off the ground and escorted him out of the hall
McGonagall waited until she left to begin talking again
"Now" she said sternly "I know you, I know you wouldn't have done that if it wasn't necessary so that's why you have detention with me...is there something I should know about Blaise?"

I looked at her and then at Fred who's emotions were filled with worry
"No"

"If you need to talk you know where I am"
She walked away, back to where the rest of the Professors were sitting
Everyone in the hall was staring at me, I looked down at my hands and they were filled with blood

"Are you hurt?" Fred asked picking up my hands to check

"I don't know" I said flatly

He took out his wand and cleaned my hands
"Looks like you are a little, let's go to the hospital wing" he took my hands to his mouth and kissed them softly

I pulled my hands back
"Please don't" I said, lip trembling

"Whats wrong?" He asked concerned

"Leave me alone" I said before I took off from the Great Hall
I heard footsteps behind me but I didn't bother turning to see who followed

I just kept running until I hit the black lake
"Cora!!" Hermione yelled

I turned around and saw my group of friends all running towards me
I could run into the forest, no one would find me there

"Don't you dare" Harry yelled

I stopped moving and fell to the ground onto my knees
I cried
I cried into the palm of my hands, the salt from my tears soaked my hands and burned

I welcomed the burn
I welcome any feeling of pain, other than my heart's
