One Hundred Eighty

"Draco" I said again, fixing my shirt and pants

He turned around and slammed the door shut

I turned to Fred who was staring at the door too
"What's his problem" he said scoffing

I turned to Fred
"What do you mean?? I'm sure that was the last thing he wanted to see"

"You, hooking up with your boyfriend? He's not with you I am, if it upset him thats his own issue"

"Don't be an ass" I said reaching for my jacket

"Why are you upset?"

"Because my best friend just walked in on us"

"You mean your best friend who's in love with you?"

"Yes that one" I said glaring at Fred "I would feel this way if any of my friends walked in on us"

"Would you?" He questioned "I doubt it"

"What the hell is your issue??"

"I'm glad he walked in, it's a nice reminded of who youre with"

"You don't own me" I said

"I don't, but you're with me not him. Don't get upset about him seeing us like that"
I threw my jacket on and began walking towards the door
Fred grabbed my arm
"Are you going after him? You know hes going to be upset, find him later"

I shook off Fred's hand
"I don't really want to be in the same room as you right now, I'd rather deal with Draco's mood. You're being insensitive"

"Cora are you more in love with me or Draco? Because fuck some days it feels like it's more him than me"

"I can't love you both??"

"You can, but being IN love with both is a problem"

"Bye Fred" I opened the door and slammed it shut behind me
"Draco!!" I yelled his name

He didn't respond but I saw another set of footsteps that I knew didn't belong to Fred or I
So I followed them

The footsteps lead to a frozen lake in the middle of the woods
Draco was leaning against a tree truck when I found him
"Draco"
He turned to look at me and then back at the lake, he didn't say anything so I walked up to him and placed my hand on his shoulder
"Talk to me please?"

He sighed and then slid all the way down to the ground
I did the same thing, ignoring how badly my legs trembled from the cold ground
"Today's been hard Cora"

"How come?"

"It's Valentine's Day and all I've wanted to do is spend it with you. But I can't because you're not with me you're with him" he said looking off into the distance
I looked to be sure Fred wasn't there before I continued listening to Draco
"I went to the shack in the hope of being alone, fucking Pansy hasn't left my side today so I ditched her before walking over"

"Want me to talk to her again?" I threatened "she won't bother you after I'm done"

"No it's fine" he took a deep breath "then I heard your voice in the shack. I don't know why I went in, I knew you were with Fred...but I opened the door and saw you in his arms, hooking up, I felt so much rage. I knew if I stayed I would have killed him, I still want to"

I felt his emotions pouring into me, I shut them off
He was telling me his problems I already knew what he was feeling and his overwhelming pit of rage was taking over my mind
"I wouldn't have wanted you to see that"

"I know you wouldn't of, I'm sure Fred loved it though. He's such an ass I really don't get why you like him"

"He says the same about you. But just like you are to me, he's loving and caring. Draco—"

"Cora let's go" Fred's voice came through the woods "leave him to sulk"

I got off the ground and turned to see Fred moving closer to us
"Fred I'll find you later, leave please"

Fred didn't do that, he continued walking over
Draco got off the ground and pushed me behind his body
I watched as they both took their wands out
"Weasley, this is a bad spot for you to be in. I'm only saying this for Cora's sake, leave"

"Make me" he said back

I pushed passed Draco and stood in between them
"Knock it off both of you"

"Bet you wish you were me huh" Fred said to Draco "did you enjoy the show?"

"Fred" I said feeling my cheeks redden from anger "I said knock it off"

"Why would I want to be you?" Draco said "poor? Hand me downs? The only thing you have that I want, I also have. Cora loves me too you know"

"Bet you wish you were fucking her"

"Fred stop right now" I said shaking

"Don't talk about her like that" Draco threatened "see Cora this is the real Fred"

"No its not, walk away" I said putting my hands out to block both of them

"I'm not leaving without you, either you're coming or I'm staying"

"I'm not going anywhere with you right now" I said agitated

"Then I'm staying"

"No we're leaving" George said coming from the woods "I heard your arguing, Fred let's go"

Lee walked out of the woods alongside him
"Come on mate"

Both of them dragged Fred away from us, then I heard another set of footsteps
This time it was Harry and Ginny

"Everything alright?" Harry asked skeptical

"It's fine leave please"

Ginny looked hesitant, Harry did as well
"Please" I begged

They both left, leaving me alone with Draco
But when I tried to talk to him, he shut me out all over again

"Please don't shut me out" I said touching his arm

"Cora I can't keep doing this. I need space, don't follow me" he said taking my hand off his arm and walking away from me

I felt no warmth coming from him
Just metal burning my throat
I let tears fall down my face as I watched my best friend walk away from me
