Death Eaters Daughter Part Two

One Hundred Sixty Eight

"Did you see Umbridge's new rule?" Ron said to us the following week
The full moon was out completely tonight, I barely wanted to get out of bed let alone eat but Fred carried me on his back to breakfast this morning

"What is it?" Harry asked

I rested my head on Fred's chest as he rubbed my back with his hand

"New decree forbids any student organizations including Quidditch from meeting again until she permits it" he said

I picked my head up
"We haven't even had our first game and it's already banned"

"That's not the worst of what's been banned" Hermione said

"No thats pretty bad" George said

"Our group is banned technically too" Hermione said

"So someone snitched?" Harry asked

"Not likely, we would know because of the jinx Fred and George added to the parchment" Hermione said

"So we do this in secret" I said

"We have to find a place big enough to host everyone, we have over 20 participants" Hermione said

"We will start looking too" Neville added "I want to do this class really bad"

"Us too" Seamus said with Dean

"If anyone finds something we can tell Hermione she will let the rest of the group know" Harry said to our group

Later on during History of Magic I looked out the window and saw a mangled owl
"Is that Hedwig??" I said to Harry concerned

He wiped his head around to the window and saw her holding her wing up, clearly distressed
Harry ran over to the window and opened it
I saw him take something from her leg
"Is it ok if I leave? My owl needs to be attended too" Harry said holding her in his arms

Professor Binns nodded his ghostly head at Harry and let him leave the classroom
I looked at Hermione
"I wonder what happened to her"

Potions class came next
I sat beside a grumpy Draco, I wasn't sure what was on his mind but regardless he let me sleep on his lap during class
Snape was agitated, I could feel that but Dumbledore gave me special permission to do things like this when the time of the month came
Draco's hands in my hair had me sleeping instantly
I didn't even feel him get up to get ingredients, which told me either today was a day without potion making or someone else got some for him
I did however wake up to Umbridge's nasty voice yelling about how I was asleep
"You can't expect me to allow this" she barked

"I don't prefer it either" Snape said snarky "but this has been the way it's been for her since the beginning. No changing it now"

"And why is that??" She demanded

"It's really none of your business" I heard Harry snap back

"It's none of yours to butt into either Potter" Snape said

Draco continued to play in my hair, my hair was long enough to reach my butt by now
Everytime he got close I felt him go back up to the top of my head, he never overstepped that line

"This will not be happening again" she said

"Talk to Dumbledore not me about it" he said annoyed

That was the last I heard of their conversation before I completely passed out

I felt someone lift me up and carry me out of the classroom, their warmth was familiar and I knew it was Draco who carried me out
We had finished classes for the day, I wasn't sure where Draco was bringing me but I didn't care
I trusted him, I knew I was safe sleeping with him

I woke up a while later and saw we were in the astronomy tower
"Hey" he said still running his hands through my hair "I hope this isn't a bad spot for me to have brought you, I just thought it would be the most quiet spot for you to sleep"

"No it's ok, I don't mind. It doesn't haunt me anymore, not since we've been hanging out here" I looked at the window and saw it was dark
"What time is it?"

"8, dinner has started I was about to wake you up but you woke up on your own"

I got off of Draco's lap and stretched deeply
He watched me stretch my arms and legs, I winced and he got up to check on me
"I'm ok, just normal pain from the moon"

"Are you hungry?"

"Not really but I know you're going to bring me to eat anyways"

"Of course I am" he smiled
He walk in front of me slightly and then turned his head around
He put his arms down and motioned for me to climb onto his back, which I did

"I never used to feel this weak during the moon cycle, I wonder if I need a stronger dose of wolfsbane" I said to Draco as he walked down the stairs with me

"It's possible, maybe being in Romania made something change too. I don't mind helping you out when you're weak though, that's what I'm here for" he began rubbing my leg with his fingers
I laid my head on his back and fell asleep again

Until I heard arguing happening
"I'll take her from here Malfoy" Fred

"She's comfortable I'm not moving her" Draco

"Give me my girlfriend"

"She's not your property"

"Knock it off" Hermione "you two are ridiculous really. She's sleeping, let her sleep on Draco's back until we get to the common room"

"She's missing dinner" Draco

"I'll bring her something for when she wakes" Fred

I felt an exchange of hands a little while later
I was burning up from my condition but some how I felt cold the moment Draco let me go
But I felt warmth again when Fred held me
"Goodnight Cora" Draco said
He kissed the top of my forehead

I felt Fred's anger, but he said nothing
He just walked with me into the common room, and let me sleep on his chest until the fireplace began speaking

"Hello all" Sirius

I opened my eyes to see that he was in the fireplace again
Fred brought me closer to the fire
"Hey" I said weakly

"Not feeling so good Cora?" He asked concerned

"No, worst I've ever felt" I said defeated

"Tonight's a stronger moon that's why...happens only once every few years Remus has been difficult to keep in line as well"

Harry began telling Sirius about the group we created but he told us he already knew
"It's brilliant keep up the good work you all"

He was about to say more but Umbridge's hand showed up
"Who is this????" She demanded

We watched helplessly as Sirius dodged her hands from grabbing hold of him
He managed to escape her, when she looked around the room for who was speaking we had all backed away enough for her to not see us

"Fuck" Harry said
