Death Eaters Daughter Part Two

One Hundred Sixty Two

Harry and I went up the owlery the next day, we both had letters to send to the house
Harry's been concerned about his scar hurting and Umbridge's intentions, my letter was mostly telling my dads about my first few days back

  "Do you think Umbridge is a death eater?" He asked after we sent Hedwig off

  "She is nasty enough to be one, and knowing that Yaxley is one makes the ministry just as guilty"

  "Did you ever find out why he got fired?"

  "Mr.Weasley told on him, I'm glad he did"

Harry nodded his head
  "Ready for try outs?" He asked after helping me down bird shit covered stairs

  "If I'm being honest no, but I am willing to give it a try. The idea of being on that field again scares me, I think that's something that'll take me a little longer to accept..."

  "And if it does that's ok too, maybe you can watch in the stadium?"

  "Yeah that could be fine"

  "I never got to talk to you about what happened" he said watching the owls enter the top of the tower we just walked down "I'm sorry for not being able to help you"

  "It's not your fault, what happened anyways I never learned the outcome"

  "I ended up winning and giving some of the money to the twins to start their shop, Fred and George didn't want me telling anyone. They didn't even want it, but I forced them to take half"

  "Half? What's the plan for the other half?"

  "It's in your own account that Professor Lupin helped me with"

I stopped walking and faced Harry
  "You didn't have too, you won it's yours"

  "That's what they told me as well. Too bad it's already in your account" he said smirking

  "Harry, thank you" I said hugging him now "I don't deserve you"

  "You're family, I love you like my sister and would do anything to help you. You know that right?"

  "I do"

  "Has anyone figured out where Hagrid's off to?"
We had class with him today, but Ron explained to me that he's been missing since the beginning of the school year

  "No, I wrote asking Padfoot that as well, maybe they sent him on a mission"

  "I hope he's ok, I wanted to talk to him about Cor and tell him about Norbert"

  "I bet he will love that conversation"

  "I miss Cor"

  "Are you going there for holiday?"

  "I hadn't thought of that either"
Can I truly go back to the place that I lost Nico

  "Cor probably misses you" Harry said

I clutched the dragon scales around my neck
  "They told me they move locations a lot...if they're not in the same spot I think I'll visit for a week, I'll have to letter Charlie when it comes closer"

Later on during the day we were all sitting by the fireplace
Fred wrapped me in a blanket as he usually did late at night and had chamomile tea for me too
George him and Lee were discussing new prank ideas, while the rest of the room was studying

  "Anyone finished with divination's homework?" Ron asked

  "Yes why?"

  "Can I borrow it?" He asked coming closer to my bag

I kicked my feet out from my blanket and pressed my foot onto his face
  "No do it yourself"
I pushed him back and he fell onto his ass

Fred laughed
  "Ron just make stuff up she's nuts anyways"

I glared at Fred
  "Don't be rude"

  "Am I wrong?"

  "Yes she's really nice when you get to know her"

  "I never said she wasn't nice" he said smirking

"Aren't we all a little looney?" I asked pushing him away from me but he was too heavy
So instead he sandwiched me between him and George who joined in on squishing me
"Move over" I said through my laughs

"Do you hear something George?" Fred said

"Nothing Freddie" George said "who put this ice pack here?"

I kept pushing but eventually gave in and let them sandwich me

The fire place began cracking
We all looked at each other and ran for it
"Hello all" Sirius said

"Hi Sirius" I said sitting down on the floor next to Harry
The rest of the room was sitting close by, not next to us, only a select few could be seen at a time in the fireplace while using it to communicate

"I received your letter, Harry I don't think Umbridge is a death eater. Is she crazy? Yes, Remus has to hold me back from showing up there and biting her from what you two have told me"

"She has something against us" Harry said

"You two have seen you know who, the ministry is your enemy until it's been proven in front of their eyes. Unfortunately that's the case they won't believe just you two students"

"Why do you think my scars been hurting?"

"I believe it's when he feels a strong emotion, for now I wouldn't worry about it"

"Cora how are you doing?" My dad said

"Better, you're right I needed my friends and family again"

"He's always right I've learned to accept it" Sirius said smirking

I smiled brightly
"I miss you guys"

"We miss you too deary" my dad said

"Any word on Hagrid?" Harry asked

"He's on a mission for Dumbledore that we aren't allowed to discuss. Just know he's doing order business and leave it at that" Sirius answered

"You all have to be careful with the ministry involving themselves at Hogwarts, they want any reason to get rid of Dumbledore. If they learn of the order we would all be in trouble" my dad said

We nodded our heads

"I'm going to come to Hogsmeade on your next visit" Sirius said "as Padfoot of course"

"No" Hermione and Harry both said

"Why not?" Sirius and I asked

"It's too dangerous" Hermione said

"Not with the ministry being here" Harry added

"But" I said

"James would have enjoyed my idea, the risk would have made it better" he said protesting

"Wait until they're home for holiday" my dad said "for now we can just keep contact this way"

A noise was heard coming from the stairs

"Goodbye all, we love you two" Sirius said

"We love you too" Harry said
