Death Eaters Daughter Part Two

Two Hundred Fifty Five

"I'm going to kill him" I said setting the note on fire

"You know who did this?" Charlie asked in a calm that I didn't recognize
He was tending to Norbert's wound, he had a giant gash on his side
I'm surprised he was able to fly away

"The only B Z I know is Blaise Zambini. I didn't know he was working with snatchers"

"Fill me in on him"
I told Charlie my whole history with Blaise, he stayed tending to his dragon but his face had turned red and I swore I could see steam rolling out of his ears
"you're not going alone" 

"I need to find him before they kill my dragon" I said shaking

"We will call for backup and go as a team. The wedding isn't for two weeks. If they are using her for entertainment she will be alive until then. We will hunt them down and make them pay I promise you that"

"He did this on purpose. He must have read the paper and saw me with her...how would they know to find them here I thought our barrier was good enough"

"It's possible Cor went out of the cave, she's a testy dragon. We don't know what goes on when we leave, we just hope that they listen to us. It looks like they tried getting Norbert but he got away somehow. I don't see any bodies but it looks like there is a trail of fire up to the lake, they must have had lots of help getting her away. Apparating with a dragon is nearly impossible, unless you have skilled wizards with you"

"He's dead" I went back into the cave to search for more clues
I can't lose her

I knew I could send word to Harry Hermione and Ron, they wouldn't hesitate to help me.
This had to be a one person job, I needed to find a way to get away from Charlie without him trying to follow me. I have no idea how I'm going to find where the wedding is being held, I have no idea if it's even being held when the paper said it would be. Knowing the Malfoy family they wouldn't put the exact date on the paper, they would use that as bait for anyone dumb enough to try to find them
I was dumb enough to do it

I didn't sleep
I watched Charlie in our tent, he stayed looking up at the ceiling
He didn't sleep either
I couldn't because I was worried about my dragon
He couldn't because he knew I would escape the moment he closed his eyes

Norbert let out wails in the night, crying for his missing friend
I don't understand how it went so wrong
We have left them in that cave so many times and they've never been in trouble

Somehow our spot was discovered, we were being watched
I wouldn't be surprised if someone was around still

I heard cracking of leaves outside of our tent
Norbert blew fire, heating up our base
Charlie jumped out of his bed right away and ran for the outside of our tent
Whoever took Cor was back for Norbert
Or us

I grabbed my fake wand and placed my real one inside my black cargo pants

I was skilled at non verbals, Charlie and I decided that last time when my wand broke I should keep it hidden and use nonverbals more than my actual wand

I ran outside the tent to help defend our last dragon, when i got there I saw the scene unfolding
Charlie was battling five death eaters, they were all in the same all black outfit, easier to hide in the dark with
They were here when we got back, they were waiting for a weak moment for us to be taken advantage from

I started sending spells towards those attacking Charlie, he was protecting Norbert with his life
Norbert had his back and was ripping apart death eaters who came close enough to test him
They were feeding off of each other's energy, the two of them working together as Cor and I usually did
I never had time to spectate their fighting, it's beautiful

Norbert couldn't fly very well with his wound our  only option was to fight through this mess
More death eaters started to show up, knowing we couldn't apparate and leave Norbert behind we had to be more thoughtful with our aim

I didn't recognize anyone on the opposite side, they were covered in all black with masks covering their faces
Blaise could be here and I wouldn't know it, if their main mission was to get dragons they would have killed us already
I think their mission is for me specifically
It was typical for us to fight wizards who were after me only, Charlie wasn't known for helping the main four who have big bounties but I'm sure they would take him in to see if he was worth something

I was hit with a spell from behind, someone I couldn't see attacked me
I fell straight forward, almost being blown apart by Norbert's line of fire
Charlie went to help me but he was sent flying into Norbert's side
I knew Norbert could handle flying with one person
But I knew that Charlie would refuse to leave me

"Go" I yelled after pushing myself off the ground "I'll hold them off and then leave too"

"Absolutely" he shot at spell and hit someone "not"

"Norbert do it" I said pleading with the dragon
He looked pained but he did what I asked
He grabbed Charlie and flew away, hoping I would escape too
I blocked them like I said I would, Charlie was screaming my name in the background but I fended off attackers until I knew they were out of sight

"Now time to go" I went to apparate but was thrown into a tree nearby, my fake wand flew out of my hand and into someone else's

"You're going to make the perfect wedding gift" the voice of Blaise said
He grabbed my hair and apparated me to the Malfoy Manor
