Two Hundred Fourty Five

The astronomy tower was bright tonight, the stars danced in the cloudless sky
The moon was halfway filled, times like this I could handle being under her glow
Draco walked with me to the edge of the tower, I walked in front of him and leaned over the edge staring at the night sky
"I love looking at the universe"

"I love looking at you" he said holding me from behind
I turned in his arms and stared into his beautiful eyes
Swirls of affection pooled in his blue grey eyes, eyes that I knew only danced for me

"I love you"

"I love you" he said back
He kissed my forehead and lingered for a moment before kissing my lips just as tenderly

I smiled deeply
This is all I've wanted
"What's with all the affection?" I asked
Not wanting to ruin the moment but unless I've been hospitalized he hasn't let himself be near me

"I just want to show you how much you mean to me...you still have my letter?"

I nodded my head

"Have you read it yet?"

"No, I didn't think it was time should I?"

"You'll know when to read it...I love the way you smile when I'm near you"

I blushed and looked down at his chest, he was wearing an all black suit
Compared to my uniform he looked so formal
"What's with the outfit? Trying to impress me?"

"You are perfect" he said changing the subject "from every mark on your skin to the way you blush under my gaze. From the way your ass looks in this skirt" he grabbed my bottom making me smirk with excitement "to the way you say my name. I love you so deeply"

"You're going to make me cry" I said feeling my eyes water
He kissed both of my eyes and then kissed my nose

"How are you feeling? I wanted to come see you last night but Blaise caught me off guard" I felt the shift in his emotion "he petrified me and left me in a closest in our dorm room"

"He used polyjuice to pose as you, he knew I wouldn't think anything was suspicious if I saw you"

"One day he will be dead and it will be because I caused it" he said filled with determination "if things in my life weren't so complicated it would have been the moment I was released from his spell"

"What happened with Dumbledore?"

"Snape told him I was with him the entire night, I was "having a bad night and needed support" is what he told him. Blaise didn't have an alibi but because the only evidence that was given was a map that Potter has he got away with it"

I felt myself grow angry
"Dumbledore should have expelled him"

"He's weak that's why he didn't"

I nodded my head in agreement
"What do you mean complicated? Please talk to me about what's going on"

"I don't want to ruin this moment...can we just have this together without any outside obligations?"

"Yes" I said
I placed my hands on his chest, feeling his emotions warming up my soul

His eyes were filled with desire, the kind that only showed for me
"I saw what you were doing the other day"

"Oh?" I said
He lightly pushed me onto the railing of the tower, unlike with Blaise I knew Draco wouldn't hurt me
He leaned me back, kissing my throat as I was leaning into the night sky

"Flaunting yourself when you knew I couldn't do anything" he lightly bit my neck, causing me to gasp

"I don't know what you're talking about" i closed my eyes smiling
He could throw me over the edge, I would die and that would be the end of my story
But he didn't, he wouldn't ever
He held me in his strong arms as i dangled over death
It wasn't time to greet you old friend

He kissed the spot he bit and then moved towards my chest, kissing his way down to my button shirt
He ripped the buttons clean off, exposing my bra lined chest to him
He kissed me there too, he kissed me like he couldn't get enough. Almost like this was our last night together
I shook that thought out of my head and let myself stay in this moment with the one male I truly and madly was in love with

I don't know what brought us here tonight, since that night with Blaise it seemed Draco was trying to make my experience here better. All my bad experiences he tried making better, he wanted me to be happy
I was happy as long as he was with me

He brought me down to the ground and laid me down on top of blankets that were here for when students had to study the late night solar system
Something about having sex in a spot that was so public was...exciting
He took off his pants, but left his shirt on
My skirt was still on, he moved it aside to slide himself into me
But his shirt being on bothered me
"Why won't you fully expose yourself to me?" I asked in between moans "I want to see all of you"
He showed himself to me last time in the room of requirements but he kept his shirt on, he just left his shirt open
I wanted to fully see him

"Don't worry about it" he thrusted into me, I gasped feeling euphoric

He never took his shirt off
I didn't bring it up again, I knew his reason now
I knew what he was hiding from me, something he thought would change my opinion of him forever
I just wish he knew that I didn't blame him for it...he never had a choice

We laid together after we both finished, I stared at the night sky watching the solar system dance for us
He kissed the side of my head and pulled me in close before getting off the ground
"I want there to be a day when I don't have to leave right after sex" he said putting his pants on

"Me too" my heart stung but I didn't show it

"I love you" he said pulling me off the ground and using his wand to fix my shirt "remember that"

I closed my eyes and nodded my head
"I love you too"
I felt him kiss me once more before leaving the room
Leaving me with a heart urning for his companionship

I stayed in the astronomy tower looking up at the sky
I didn't do this often enough, I didn't come up this way without Draco. After the memory we made here tonight I felt like I could start
I'm not sure how long passed, I stayed long enough to feel completely at bliss

That was until I heard screaming from the grounds below
My wand was on the ground, I grabbed it and looked back towards the grounds trying to see if I could find the sounds
It sounded like younger students...why is anyone else up at this time
Everyone should be in their dorms now

I heard someone send a spell off into the clouds, I looked up at the line of fire and saw a mark that I didn't think would exist this far into my safe place
The dark mark was glaring down at me from the once bright night sky
