When the wedding started, Harry left to get Ginny. He brought back Molly too, she was on edge like most of us. I know seeing her son get married was a highlight of her years, the only one not here from their family was Percy. He hasn't been seen or heard from in a long while, no-one brought him up.

Charlie stayed by my side, eying Fred while Fleur walked with Bill to the center of the tent. They had their moment, dancing to some song that her grandmum made specially for her. I watched the lady who I assumed was her, softly dance to her own song in her seat. Fleur didn't introduce her family members, she wanted to keep their identities private which I understood. By the time night fell, everyone was dancing. Fleur wanted the twilight sky to bring forth their ceremony. Luckily for my dad and I the full moon passed a while ago, leaving the sky without her presence. Stars danced brightly in the opening of the tent, when someone would leave for fresh air I could see the night sky whispering her hello to the party dwellers.

Charlie took my hand and brought me to the center to dance beside Hermione and Ron

"Im not stupid" he whispered to me, spinning me around

"Come again?" I asked placing my hand on his shoulder again

"I know youre taking off tonight. I saw you with a full bag packed, enchanting it to fit inside your dress pocket" he pointed to my formal wear, I was in a short blue dress with a deep neck line. It was simple, but I liked that the most about it

"Im not"

"Dont lie, I'm not here to stop you. If it has anything to do with what I think it does, I understand. Im here to tell you to stay safe. I love you like a sister, we have been together for years and I feel protective over you. I can't stop you from doing what you need to, just come home to all of us ok? When things get too hard you know where you can find me" He kissed my cheek softly

I felt warmth from Charlie, something I hadn't felt from him before. I closed myself to feelings, but even when I was fully open I didn't feel love from Charlie. He wasn't lying when he said he cared about me.

"thank you for caring for me all of these years" I wiped a few tears off of my cheek "I love you"

"I love you too kid. Let Fred dance with you before you leave ok? We had words last night and I made him see things from a different perspective. He wants to give you space to be yourself"

I nodded my head and felt Charlie spin me around until a new set of hands grabbed hold of me

Fred looked into my eyes, warmth radiated from him like it always did. I could tell the difference in love from those who push it towards me. Charlie matched Ron Harry and Hermione's. My dad was special, his love was pure. Fred and Draco always radiated the same, they both loved me deeply. I wish I had let myself feel when I was beside Draco

"Im sorry for putting you on the spot" He said sincerely

"I understand, things are just complicated right now"

"Yeah they are. Im always here for you ok Corey? No matter what happens with us, I want you to know you have a safe place next to me for as long as I live"

"thank you" I laid my head on his chest and danced softly to the piano in the background

"You could play better" He said

I laughed "I havent played in a long while"

"I bet you know how to still, want to try?"

"No its really ok" Fred dragged me to the piano

"Hey mate want a break?"

The male playing was an older gentleman, his face was silver like one who has aged with wisdom. He got up and stretched his old bones

"I wouldn't mind one, thanks" he lightly squeezed Fred's shoulder before leaving the two of us with a room to entertain

I sat down and stretched out my fingers, some songs came naturally to me others I had to work hard to remember. There was one I knew I wouldn't forget, I played it a lot when I thought of my love for Fred and Draco

The keys moved with my hands as if one another were meant to be together. I wasn't sure how the crowd felt about the sudden change in artist, but I didn't care. I kept playing until my fingers wore out, until the melodies in my mind left with the wind that blew passed me. I felt a small bit of serenity being on a piano again, Fred knew this would bring me comfort. He was always so damn good at that. A reason I knew he would make a fantastic life partner. Someone out there will be lucky to have his heart, Ive never been lucky in my life. His heart wasn't meant for me

The original pianist was back, I got off his seat but kissed the tops of my fingers and laid it onto the keys one more time

"you're very talented" the gentleman said "thanks for the help"

I nodded my head and retuned to the dance floor with Fred waltzing me around. I saw Hermione look at me, a ghost of smile was sitting on her red cheeks. She had dipped herself into the French wine, not enough to impair, just enough to bring forth some relaxation. Ron nodded his head to me, as if trying to further prove his point. Harry gave me a soft smile too, I knew they all wanted me to be happy. Hermione was the only one who understood why I couldn't be.

My dad walked up to me next

"Mind if I?" he asked Fred, he could have told him off and demanded my attention but my dad was too sweet to be anything but kind

Fred kissed my cheek, the same that Charlie did and left to go to his twin who was sitting next to Lee Jordan

"Hello sweetheart" he said placing one hand in mine and the other behind my back

"hi dad" I said back, we danced around each other. Basking in a moment that neither of us thought we would have, I saw Ginny was dancing with her dad was well. Harry Hermione and Ron were conveniently next to each other.

"Im sorry about your dragon, I didn't get to console you about her yet"

The familiar sting made its way into my chest, I kept my mouth shut not knowing if I could trust myself to not cry

"You are so brave all the time, Im proud of the woman you are. Thank you for being my daughter" He kissed my other cheek

The damaged little girl inside me wanted my dad to hold me, wanted to be coddled by his presence. She wanted to keep dancing beside her father as he watched over her. The damaged little girl wouldn't be free from the burden of her trauma, but the adult version would overcome it.

I hugged my dad tight, he wrapped his tired arms around me. Just as we were having a moment, a flash of blue went flying into the center of the tent

My dad held me at his side, attempting to protect me from whatever could be coming our way

I looked around the tent and saw everyone guarded, Fred was closing in on me along with Charlie

The light turned into a patronus, a jaguar from Kingsley
