One Hundred Fifty Eight

I felt arms all come around me
I recognized them all by now, Harry Hermione Ron Fred George even Lee all held me as I cried

"I've been crying so much" I said through my sobs "im so SICK OF IT"

No one said anything, they just held me as I screamed
Rain began pouring down on us, but still no one faltered
The rain was welcoming though, it made me even colder yes but it washed away my tears
I watched each one leave my face, hit the ground and then turned into nothing

The rain continued for 10 minutes before Fred picked me up from the ground
"Cora let's go inside you're shaking"

"I'm sorry" I said to my friends "I'm sorry"

"For feeling?" Ron said "don't say sorry for that"

"I can't be a good friend right now" I said

"Good thing we all can be" he said smiling

"You don't have to do this alone, we are here to support you" Fred said

"Let's go to the common room, we need to talk" Harry said "it's time you tell us what happened...we want to help you and can't if we don't know what's going on"

I nodded my head but felt dizzy doing so
"I'm so tired"

"Can I carry you back?" Fred asked gently

I nodded my head and let Fred pick me up and carry me in his arms back towards our common room
He was so warm, his emotions and his body heat
I couldn't help me snuggle in closer to his chest
Listening to his heart I could tell he didn't mind me being so close

I took a nap and when I woke up I was wrapped in my blanket with Fred's arms around me still
Everyone was doing homework it seemed in the common room

"Hey" I said getting up to stretch "what time is it?"

"4pm" George said "it's been a week"

"What!?" I said jumping up

He began laughing
"It's the same day I'm just playing with you"

I rolled my eyes and laughed a little
I sat back down, Fred opened my blanket for me and I let him wrap it around me again
"Has anyone heard from Draco?"

"We haven't left this room all day, we've been waiting for you" Hermione said

"Oh I'm sorry..."

"Don't be, we have homework to do. I'm doing yours right now" she said smiling

  "You're incredible" I said laying my head on Fred's chest
He wrapped an arm around my shoulders, bringing more warmth to my frozen body

"Are you able to talk about what happened over the summer?" Harry asked

Hermione looked up through her lashes
"She doesn't have to if she doesn't want to"

"But we're worried" Fred added "it's ok, really we won't judge you"

"Uhm" I said thinking long about if I wanted to explain my story, or the story of my dead lover

They all waited for me to speak again
I sighed
"I fell in love" I started with

I felt Fred's hand lessen its grip, but then he tightened it again
"Tell us about him" he said rubbing my arm with his hand

I wiped my face of a tear that escaped
"His name was Nico"
I told them everything, how much I loved him and how we had sex
I felt Fred's emotions turn metallic for me, everyone in the room's did
A slight tinge of bitterness from Fred when I mentioned that we had sex but it wasn't enough for it to be brought up
I showed them my dragon scale next to his, and then I told them about Cor and Kai
I told them about how they made me feel alive, how Romania made me feel alive as well
I explained that I felt no pain while I was there, and how I even glowed in the moonlight

Then I got to how he died
How my world turned around again, and I found myself sitting in the same dirty bar I used to hold a spot in years ago
How Sirius saved me again, and what happened the first night I came back to Hogwarts
"I drank with Pucey again" I said

No one spoke

"I knew it was a bad idea...but after drinking with him I remember nothing. I think Blaise...I think he took advantage of me while I was drunk. I have bruises all over my body and my chest from him"

I felt everyone's emotions turn bitter
The worst came from Hermione and Fred
"I'm glad you beat the shit out of him" Fred said

"Draco did it first I just got his leftovers" I said

"I've rarely seen you stick up for yourself. It's a lot to even say something to someone who assaulted you...you beat him up. Give yourself more credit" George said "just wait till he sees what we do to him the rest of the year" he said with a tone I've never heard come from him

"It's your last year" I said sadly
With all thats going on in my life I forgot that two of the most important people to me will be leaving...

"But you've become so strong, you don't need us around protecting you anymore" Fred said

"I'll always need you" I said looking up at Fred "and you too George" I said after he coughed

"I was starting to feel left out" he said smiling

"Plus you have Harry Hermione and Ron" Fred said

"And Draco" Hermione said

"We don't like him but you know he will go down dying for you" Ron said

"I don't want anyone to die for me"

Hermione smacked Ron in the arm
"Really?" She said

"I'm sorry I'm not good with words" he said rubbing his arm

My smile turned into a laugh
Everyone around me laughed too
Sirius was right
This is what I needed
I needed my friends and family around me again
Being alone is harder
