Two Hundred Eighty One

We landed
But then we moved again?
My body was squeezing and expanding, my back was still having tremors
I could feel my nerves shredding, I knew this feeling from years ago

I landed roughly on the ground, my breathing was labored
"Harry!!" Hermione yelled "oh no oh no"

She pressed onto my back, I wasn't sure what was happening but it hurt when pressure was applied
"It hurts" I said through my teeth

"I know...Harry for Merlin sake use your wand to find it!!" She yelled

"Accio Dittany" Harry said

I heard footsteps rushing towards me
Hermione let go of my back momentarily, I felt liquid being dropped onto my skin making my body tense up
Then the burning was gone, left only a sore pain

I turned onto my back and pushed off the ground, my back seized immediately
"Fuck" I said clenching over

"Don't move give the potion time to heal you" Hermione said

I looked at her and she was tending to Ron's shoulder, blood was covering her hands and clothes
Harry was walking around our group with his wand out laying down enchantments
"What happened? Why aren't we at Sirius'?"

"Yaxley grabbed onto me when we used the fireplace, I saw him standing beside us at the manor and moved our group immediately again...Ron and you got splinched im so sorry" she said pained
"Your back was in a worse condition so I started with you, it was completely open"

I couldn't imagine what Hermione saw when we landed, a blood bath by the look of her and the ground
She was great at keeping her composure, I can't imagine seeing the two of us like that was east

"Your both are going to have to rest for a few days at least...we are stuck here for the moment" Harry said coming back to us

"Did you and Hermione get the locket?"
Please tell me they were successful

Harry pulled the piece of jewelry out from his shirt, he was wearing it now
"Yeah, I distracted Umbridge and Hermione grabbed for it. We risked being caught but it worked. Dementors chased us from the bottom floor to the elevator, then we were chased by death eaters all the way to our meeting point"

"What happened to you two?" Hermione asked now resting from the trauma of healing her husband and I

"I had a hard time figuring out how to fix the ceiling. Percy came to help me he said he saw Cora but—" Ron looked at me

I avoided eye contact and looked anywhere but at my friends

"But?" Harry said

Hermione already knew what was going to be said, she didn't say anything in hopes the two of them would forget about it
"Nothing I got lost is all"

"I thought we said no more lying" Ron said

"Where are we?" I said changing the subject

"Quidditch Cup field, it was the first place I could think of when I apparated us" Hermione answered

"Cora" Harry said

"Hmm?"

He looked at me annoyed

I sighed
"The girl you two picked for me to impersonate was uhm..." I played with dead grass under my hands "Draco's assistant"

I heard someone smack their forehead, Ron it seemed realized what Percy meant when he said I went back for my boss

"Did you find anything useful?" Harry asked

"I burned all of our records" I kept the part of his mission to myself
They didn't need to know

"What else happened?" Ron asked

I debated lying again, but chose the truth
"We fucked"

Hermione chuckled

"Really Cora" Harry said

"What you guys took YEARS off from missions. I couldn't take an afternoon??"

"Not when we were in the middle of enemy territory" Harry scolded me "he tried to kill you"

"He's being controlled, he broke out for a moment when I went back for him"

"If he's under their control he's completely untrustworthy. Even worse than before. I hope you didn't tell him anything" Harry scoffed

"Oh yeah I told him our plan and what we were after. I told him that you were having a kid and my dad did too. I told him all of your weaknesses and how to hurt each one of you the most" I mocked Harry "of course I didn't fucking say anything"

"How do we know?" Harry said

"How do you know you can trust me??"

"Because we can" Hermione said to Harry, her voice was stern

"We can trust her mate" Ron added

Harry walked off from our group

"Grumpy is back" I said laying back down on the ground

As the night went on, Harry stayed in a bad mood
I paid him no mind, focusing on trying to find food with Ron
Hermione stayed back hoping to calm Harry down

"I didn't chose to fall in love with him" I said picking mushrooms that I knew would be safe to eat
Living off of the wild as a child helped in these situations

"Hermione and I know that. Harry is just Harry. It's true if him and Ginny worked this out years ago we wouldn't be here now, he's got no right to be mad at you" Ron walked to a pond and started looking for fish

"I feel like the two of us haven't been the same since Sirius' death, it's almost like he blames me like my dad did"

"Another thing that isn't your fault" Ron reminded me

"I suppose"

We all took turns trying to open the locket, but we unsuccessful
Harry kept it around his neck after our attempts
I went to bed thinking of Draco that night

I do most nights, every night I should say
I tossed and turned but after hours of a restless mind I walked outside of our tent and went to look at the night sky
I took a large blanket with me to stay warm, Hermione had her bag filled with survival items in case our mission went bad. If it weren't for her I would have died after splinching
I hope Kreacher is ok

I stared at the night sky, the full moon would arrive soon and I had no real shelter from it. The tent would work fine but it wasn't as thick as a building so I wasn't sure if I would feel any affects.
Draco's mind was taken over again, I want to help him so desperately. The best thing I can do is keep working towards ending Voldemort's reign. With him in power Draco won't be safe and he won't stop fighting against him until I am.
That was what drove me each day. Even when Harry was making it feel impossible, I was looking for a way to be happy
