Two Hundred Eighty

He reached over for his wand and summoned a towel, he took his time cleaning me off.
The silence in the room wasn't awkward like it had been with all my other encounters. This was a peaceful silence.
He threw the towel into a corner and used both of his hands to pull me up to his chest. He held my body tightly, both of us nude and sweating. I could hear his heart beat slowing back down, his breathing returned to normal as well.
He used one hand to rub my back, the other to hold my head to his chest.

I knew we wouldn't see each other for a while again, time would return to normal and we would be separated once more. For now it was nice to be held by someone I loved. Someone who loved me.
I wanted so desperately to have what Harry Hermione Ron and Ginny had. I wanted comfort in a person, I wanted someone to wake up with, someone to spend my days with. That wasn't our story

He released me, I could tell how reluctant he was but his arms dropped to his side and he backed away
"Cora" he said quietly, as if comforting me

I picked my head up from looking down, I couldn't help my eyes from watering or the tears from falling from my face.
I was broken, I knew I would be if we had sex. I knew I wouldn't be able to handle leaving him again
"I don't want to be without you"

I saw him rub his eyes, he was stronger than me. He wouldn't let himself be down if I was too
But I could feel his emotions, even though I was warm I felt so much sadness washing over me

"I don't either" he looked at the ground, my clothes and his were scattered
He used his wand to redress himself, then he fixed my clothes.
Instead of using his wand to place them back on my body, he did it by hand
He helped me off his desk and slowly began redressing me
He started with my underwear, dragging my skirt over the laced thong
Then he grabbed my bra and I clipped it back on, he struggled figuring out the clips which made me chuckle through my ever flowing tears
Finally my shirt, he was reluctant on putting that one on
"Your breast are my favorite part of your body"

I blushed deeply
"I thought my hair was"

"Fine it's a tie for those two" he wiped tears from my face "seeing you cry makes me want to burn the world down"

I laughed
"If i had my dragon still we could have together"

"Shit" Draco said
He looked at me panicked

"What?"

"I wouldn't complain if we weren't in the worst place you could be...you're back to normal. I was so mesmerized in your actual beauty I didn't realize you were you..."

I looked down at my body and he was right
"Oh no"
How long have I been normal? What's happening to the rest of my group...

Draco clutched his head and fell down to the ground
"F-fuck" he said pained

I raced to his side and started to rub his back
"What's wrong??"

"My mind..." he said through his teeth "he's taking it back..."

Two of the four have been spotted escaping, capture by any means

I heard a voice over his office intercom
"Two...which two" I said

Draco pushed me away
"Go"
He screamed as his head continued to throb

"But" I couldn't
Not when he was hurting

"GO" he yelled looking at me "please Cora, I can't keep him out any longer"

I nodded my head and got off the ground. I grabbed my wand, the wand that originally belonged to Draco the same one I've been using and I raced for his door

I looked back at him one more time
"I love you"
I opened his door and started sprinting for the elevator

Wizards and witches watched me run, no one stopped me
That was until I felt a barrage of spells being sent my way
I used my wand to deflect whatever I could, I saw mask death eaters charging for me

I decided against the elevator, I would be trapped if there was a group waiting for me on the other end
I saw a set of stairs beside the machine so I opted for that
I was on the fifth floor so I had a way to go before I found the exit but I ran and jumped down whenever I could
Spells ricocheted against the walls, the stairwell was lighting up with all different colors of spells
If I took the time to send some back it would slow me down, so I just kept dodging and running

I took an exit for the second floor, I hid behind the door and heard the group of death eaters run passed me
As I stood catching my breath I tried to think of a plan
Did they escape or are they being held captured?
What should I do...if I go looking for them I'll be caught
If I go back to Sirius' place without them I won't know what happened

I tapped my foot onto the ground heavily debating my options
That was until I heard my name being called
"Cora this way!!" Ron was yelling for me

So the two who were spotted were Hermione and Harry
I ran to his side, his brother was next to him
"Where are the others??"

"Not sure. I don't think they've been caught, we would have heard about it already" Percy said "go to the fireplaces and escape there. If your friends are smart that's where they are heading"

"Come with us" Ron said to Percy

He shook his head
"My mission isn't done. I have to go before I'm spotted with you two"he hugged Ron tight and then hugged me too "be safe"

We nodded our heads and ran back for the stairs
We made it to the final floor, but like I thought there was a group waiting for us

I saw in the distance Hermione and Harry running the opposite side of us
In the middle were the fireplaces we needed to escape in
I grabbed Ron's hand and together we made our way through the group of dark wizards
We used our wands to send them away from us, stunning them
I locked eyes with Hermione and ran for her side
I saw Yaxley was tailing them, I went to fire a spell at him but something hit my back sending me off into a different direction

My back was spasming but Ron grabbed my arm and pulled me back to my feet
I saw who sent a spell my way
Draco held his wand facing me and tried sending another spell but Ron deflected it

The four of us met in a group together, I saw the fireplaces closing one by one
We ran as fast as we could to the very last exit, I looked at Draco once more before I jumped through and began apparating away
