"Welcome to Potterwatch, quick broadcast today. We are your hosts Rapier and River"

The sound of our beaten down radio was in the background of our lunch

"You know at first I thought this was a silly idea, but just like the joke shop it's been a giant hit. You know Fred says that over 30,000 wizards listen in?" Charlie took a bit of his sandwich

"It gives hope, their poor joke shop though"
The shop was closed down immediately after the fall of Hogwarts. It was vandalized by Death Eaters, Fred George and Lee still use it as a home base though
They claim since it's already been attacked it won't be a target
They are the only ones who get information about diagon alley, Mad Eye approved of their staying there for that reason

"Everything will be rebuilt when this is over" I nodded my head and continued eating my own sandwich
Cor looked at me while I ate, even though both dragons hunted this morning they were drooling over our meals

"Cor you're a pig" I said throwing the other half of my meal to her
She lit it on fire and then ate it, satisfied with her begging

"You're making it worst" Charlie said finishing his own and not giving Norbert any
His dragon nudged him over, Charlie went face first into a dirt pile

I chuckled
"At least I'm not covered in dirt" I rubbed my hand under Cor's neck, she extended it and blew fire into the air above us
No matter how many years I sit by her side she stays impressing me

"We're going to apparate tonight" Charlie said sitting up "it's going to be a late meeting"

"The dragons will have to be brought to the cave"
Charlie and I had a cave we enchanted to hide our partners, we added every magical protection spell we knew of. It only worked for a small group and since it was two dragons, it was at its max

"Yeah we will fly there and then apparate over. We were given permission to show up early if we wanted to"

"Why would we want to?"

He looked at me curiously
"So we can see our loved ones a little longer?"

"We're not supposed to risk extra time with them"

"You're starting to sound like Madeye. I think you two sit too close to each other in meetings" he said scoffing "Cora it's good for you to see your friends, your dad"

"I see them in meetings"

"Are you ok?" He stared at me, an older brother asking his younger sibling if she needed support
He may not be blood, but he doesn't treat me any differently than he would Ginny

I waved him off but didn't answer his question
Truthfully, meetings hurt my well-being. We didn't laugh, we didn't share life adventures, we didn't spend the night holding each other...we discussed war strategies. We talked about how to kill our enemies. We gave each other hugs hoping it wouldn't be the last time we saw one another. We all longed to spend more time being ourselves
There is nothing wrong with being with Charlie, he's kept my head above water when all I wanted to do was drown. But I miss my friends, being near them all the time. I miss my dad, after just rediscovering our relationship we were thrown apart again. Seeing them hurt

"Now for the worst of our segments, if you hear a name of a loved one I'm so sorry for your loss" Fred's voice came over the radio, Lee Jordan read off a list of those who have perished, they then ended the channel with a list of those who are missing. Missing means the same thing
Dead
"Until next time, the password is Mooncalf"

The fly over to our hidden cave was uneventful, it typically was. We didn't go far from it in case we needed a quick escape, we only had trouble once in the last five years and that was recent. We found a group of snatchers, they didn't last the night. I got myself in the paper after that. The daily prophet made it seem like I attacked a group of innocent campers, they were anything but. We gave them the opportunity to join us, we always do when we find someone of the opposite side. They attacked us immediately, wanting the cash prize for my head. I incinerated them without a thought

We landed, our dragons knew to walk into the cave. We didn't take moments away from them often, they knew what this meant
I stroked Cor's neck and placed my forehead onto hers softly
I like to think we can read each other's emotions when I do this, we have a strong bond something I didn't think I would have with a beautiful creature. If it wasn't for my name being added to the tournament I would have never met her. She wouldn't have come to my rescue, I like to think positively about those months instead of thinking of the negatives. I have enough things that stress me out without adding the day I was kidnapped from my worse abuser. Someone I wish I could set on fire, but my mission wasn't his capture. That was left to Mad Eye and Kingsley. He was considered a high risk being inside the ministry, they didn't trust I wouldn't ruin the mission. A fair point seeing that I would just take Cor inside the building and set a blaze to them all.

"I'll see you soon" I said before exiting the cave
Cor watched my every move, Norbert was busy exploring the cave trying to find lizards to chase

Once we were outside of the boundary Charlie took my hand, readying us for Apparation
Charlie didn't want me to take off when apparating, since I've been known to do just that in the first few years here.
"I still think we should just show up with our dragons"

He chuckled
"Maybe if the meeting location is closer to us we can"
I felt the familiar sensation of wind pulling around my face
My body pulled in different directions, stretching until I felt nothing again
I looked at our meeting location, the house was even more beat up than it was before. I knew it was just an illusion, the order did this to every meeting zone. The more destroyed a spot looked the better it was for us

Charlie let go of my hand
"Want to see if we can find some wolfsbane flowers?"

I stared blankly at him
The full moon wasn't for a few days but just being here for a moment made me feel weak
My dad will be in a worse condition, if he shows up at all

"Cora?" He asked getting nervous

"Hm?"

"Yeah let's go find some ingredients, we can see if someone will brew some for you. I don't mind making a special trip for that option at a later date"

Fred and George were excellent at potion making, I knew if I asked them they wouldn't hesitate
"It's ok. I don't need it"

Charlie looks hesitant but shrugged his shoulders
"Well let's go inside"

I nodded my head and slowly made my way in, the house didn't bother me anymore. My memories here didn't haunt my dreams, only one thing did.
Charlie opened the door, noticing I need extra support he made sure to not stray far from me
He didn't need to hold onto me for long, another set of hands grabbed a hold of me and held onto me tightly

"I've missed you so much" Hermione said
