Two Hundred Sixteen

My trembling legs got better but my hands weren't
  "I don't think you need to go to St Mungo's, you seem to be improving. You can either stay here another day, or you can leave now. If you leave now and it gets worse you need to head back here as soon as you can"

  "Thank you, I think for now I will leave. Do you have more Wolfsbane for me?"
The full moon was tomorrow, another reason I knew that my dad wouldn't show up to see me

  "I do dear" she walked over to her cabinet and pulled out a few bottles "this'll last you until you come back from holiday"

I thanked her again and placed them in my book bag
It was breakfast so I headed to the great hall
When I got to my friend's table I saw that Ginny was in a heated debate with Ron

  "Ron have you even kissed anyone??" She teased "Harry and I are together, Cora was with Fred, even Hermione was with Viktor, but you no one"

Ron's face was bright red
I felt anger coming from him, and embarrassment
  "I've kissed someone" he said

  "Who??" She demanded

He didn't say anything
He grabbed his bags and stormed out of the great hall
I decided to follow him instead of eat breakfast, he seemed upset

  "What caused that argument?" I asked when I caught up to him

  "Harry and her were snogging, I told them it was gross seeing my sister like that and that's when she attacked me...Hermione wasn't actually with Krum was she?"

I sat beside him on the stairs
  "That's not my business to talk about, ask her if you're concerned"

He looked towards the great hall
  "No...but I'm glad to see you out of the hospital wing how are you feeling?"

I showed him my hands
  "I can't get them to stop shaking but other than that I'm good"

  "Can you use your wand like that?"

  "I'll figure it out, I'm sure it'll be no trouble" I pointed my wand to a statue close by
I tried to use a jinx that would make the statue start dancing, but my hands shook too much and my wand fell out of my hands
  "Well that's a problem"

Ron's face dropped slightly
  "You cant defend yourself if you can't hold your wand"

  "Don't worry about me really I'll be fine, who's going to attack me here?"

  "Well maybe not this week, but we're against Slytherin next week in the game. Im sure it'll be jinx mayhem like usual"

  "I didn't even think of quidditch...we have a game tomorrow how am I supposed to hold the Quaffle" I sunk down into my seat

  "I bet by then you'll be better" he said trying to be optimistic "I don't think Harry was expecting you to be in the match this week anyways, take this one off and then play with us next week? With the full moon out it might be best to take to easy for once"

  "I'll talk to Harry, I'll let our captain decide"

I took Ron's hand and walked back to the great hall with him
Ginny was gone with Harry, it was just Hermione left behind
She had her muggle studies book out
  "Cora I'm glad you're better"

I showed her my hands as well
  "Kind of"

She frowned
  "How about your legs?"

  "I can walk so they're fine, I'm worried about playing quidditch though"

She rolled her eyes
  "Of course you are"

  "Ron you'll just have to be on your best if I'm not playing tomorrow"

  "I'll try" he said not looking at Hermione

There was so much tension between them, but I sat down and ate breakfast trying to ignore the awkwardness at the table
He was worried about Hermione possibly kissing Viktor, he would lose it if he found out she slept with him

I was walking the halls and heard a door open and then close
I looked down the hall and saw nothing, but I knew that this was the same hallway that lead to the room of requirements

I walked over to the wall that held the room
  "Who is inside?" I asked no one in particular

The room didn't open for me
It only opened when you needed it, I just was curious on who was inside of it

I didnt bother thinking of it too much, I continued walking down the hall until I saw Crabbe and Goyle without Draco

  "Hey" I said to them

  "Lupin" Goyle said

  "Hello Cora" Crabbe said

  "Where is Draco?"

They both looked at each other
  "No idea" Goyle said

  "We miss seeing you during meals" Crabbe said "no one shares their food with me"

  "I miss sitting with you all, Draco's been ignoring me I was hoping maybe you could tell me why?"

I had small details about what's keeping Draco from me, but he won't tell me the whole reason
Just that he's keeping me safe

  "We don't know" Crabbe said
I could tell by their emotions they were lying to me, but I kept that to myself
I knew asking would be a long shot

  "I miss him, can you tell him that for me?"

  "I don't think that's a good idea Cora" Goyle said "he can't lose focus on what he's working on"

  "He's working on something important?"

Goyle stayed silent
He must have figured that he said too much

Just then I heard a door opening, I knew the sound was coming from the room of requirements
I turned to look and saw Draco walking around the corner
He looked at me, and then at his friends

I turned to look at them too and saw they were nervous
They must have been patrolling the halls, making sure no one bothered him while he was in that room

  "Crabbe Goyle" Draco said walking towards us

They both nodded their heads and walked away with him
Draco turned to look at me before they rounded the next corner
He didn't have to say anything, I felt warm instantly when he looked at me
I could also see how his eyes shifted when he looked at me, pure silver a color that only comes for me
