Two Hundred Thirty Four

"C-Cora..." Harry said in the background
I heard footsteps splashed in the water around me, then I felt terror enter my body
My throat was closing up, I was too weak to hold out emotions

"Cora stay with me" Draco's voiced echoed through my head "don't close your eyes"
But I'm so tired
I felt my eyes shutting, but I kept them open for him

Every time I looked at his own, I saw the look of horror
He was terrified...but why I wasn't hurt that bad was it
"Potter what did you do?!"
Draco as gently as he could, moved my body so I was no longer on my stomach
I was on my back, exposing the worst of my wounds
He pulled my shirt from out of my skirt and lifted it, I wasn't sure what he saw but his terror came at me even worse than before
"Go find a teacher..." Draco said stunned
I didn't hear Harry moved, he seemed just as upset about the situation
"HURRY WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!?" He yelled

I heard footsteps running out of the bathroom, Draco used his hands to apply pressure to my stomach
Then my chest
Then my neck
It seemed he didn't know what wound was worse, he was panicking
My vision was fading in and out, I was having a hard time focusing
"Every-everything h-hurts" I said looking at Draco's grey eyes

"I know it does...fuck" he said moving his hand down to my thigh

I winced at his pressure
"I'm i-in so m-m-m"

"Shh" he said softly to me "you'll be ok" I think he was saying that for his sake not my own
"Please don't die...don't leave me" he whimpered "I can't lose you"

He was barely holding himself together, I tried picking up my hand to place on his face but I couldn't move it up high enough
He saw my effort and shook his head
"Don't move you'll make it worse" he was so fearful

"Draco move!!" the voice of Professor Snape yelled

Draco didn't, he stayed applying pressure to my wounds
"She's hurt really bad I can't leave her"

"If you want her to live you will move" he demanded

Draco let go off his hold on me
"No please don't g-go"
I didn't want to be left alone

"I'm not going anywhere" he said determined "I won't leave you"
I felt a spell caress over my body, instantly cooling my temperature

I started to shiver uncontrollably
"I-I'm c-c-cold" I said through my teeth
With the full moon being out, I shouldn't be cold I should be hot

"She's lost too much blood we need to get her to Madame Pomfrey, Potter you stay here" Snape bit out 
I felt someone lift me up and hold me close to their chest
I looked up and saw Draco carrying me, he was so warm
I felt my shaking body push itself closer into his arms
Arms that I never noticed the strength of until now, he wasnt a beater on the quidditch team like Fred was but his arms felt just as toned
He held strength in his presence unlike Fred
Draco would go to the end of the earth to rescue me, he would stop at nothing to keep me safe

He started running, i could tell we were going down flights of stairs but I didn't feel it in his arms
He held me tighter than necessary, as if he was the one holding me together now
"Please don't leave me" Draco said to me
That was my last conscious thought before I passed out completely

I wasn't sure how much time passed, but when I opened my eyes I was surprised to see Draco still at my side
He didn't come to visit me last time I was hospitalized, I couldn't believe he was with me now
"You're awake" he said relieved
I went to pick up my hand to hold his own but I couldn't move
"You're severely injured don't move" he said placing his hand on my face
