Emma's POV.

"Hey."

What on earth?

Josh and Jennifer were currently on the floor of our hotel room, playing video games. Josh smiles at me before quickly returning to the TV screen.

"Uh..."

How did Jen manage to get an Xbox in a day? Sometimes I forget that I hang out with an international movie star.

I stand there watching them play, Jen occasionally mutters curse words and Josh cheers as he annihilates her avatar.

I watch as Jen punches him in his chest and he groans in pain as he curls into a ball. Once Josh regains his composer, he stands up, dusts himself off, and slowly approaches me.

"Hey."

I have to force myself not to tackle him right then and there. He just looks so intoxicating and I swear, I swear I can see a faint smirk on the edge of his lips. He knows what he does to me.

That bastard.

"Uh, hi?"

"So! I was supposed to grab coffee with Josh after work," Jen skips over to us and lays an arm on his shoulder. "But I have a really bad-"

She suddenly coughs and her face scrunches up in pain. She's lying! I can tell by the way her eyes sparkle with mischief.

"-cough so will you do me a favor and go with Josh?"

She smiles, a big and cheesy smile, before fake coughing again.

Josh wears the same expression but this time his face is laced with...anxiousness?

"Are you sure you're sick?" I ask her. She rapidly nods her head and a smile creeps on my face. "Well if you're sick then I can't leave you alone! I'll take care of you."

Both of their smiles drop. I can see Jen having a war inside her head. I can't wait to see what she has to say to that.

"It's contagious! You can't stay here!"

Should I go? They're obviously trying so hard to convince me. Maybe this won't be such a bad thing. And maybe I'll finally get answers.

"Fine, I'll go." Josh's face immediately lights up in an adorable way. "But I have to shower."

That's when I realize how uncomfortable I feel. Some of my hair was sticking to my forehead, leaving my looking like a hot mess. Thank God I didn't wear any makeup or else I would look like a raccoon. Not to mention my scrubs continue to rid up in extremely uncomfortable places.

"Okay, just come over when you're ready. I'm in the room to the right."

My eyes widen on its own accord. A room right next to us? I guess there was no use in avoiding him after all.

"Alright." I say nervously.

"Hey, don't be nervous. I just want to talk." He places a hand on my arm and that's all it takes for me to lose it once again. I nod aimlessly and scurry away into the bathroom.

My thoughts travel to Josh's earlier attempts to get me to go out with him. I've got to give him props for determination.

With a strained speed, I undress and get under the hot water that soothes my aching bones. Today has been a long day needless to say. After the whole incident with Josh earlier, and me having to restrain myself from clawing at Natalie's head, I was hoping to take a breather. But no, everyone decided to get injured all at once.
