"Hello?" Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. This is not happening.

I guess this is the day I die of embarrassment. I slowly lift my head to see, in relief, that it was not Josh. It was Connor, Josh's 16 year old brother. I've never imagined that I would ever met him. I let out a big sigh of relief. Finally something is going right.

"Hi, I'm Emma. I just came by to drop off Josh's wallet. He left it over at my house the other day."

Connor was staring at me, or should I say my body, intently. His gaze made me squirm in my place and blush furiously. What's up with the Hutchersons doing that to me?

"I didn't realize that Josh had a girlfriend." He says. I have to say, he's very handsome. It weird how they're almost identical. Of course there are major differences like, for example, the jaw. Josh's is more defined.

"Oh no! His car broke down and he just came into my house to use my phone and I guess he left his wallet."

"Why didn't you just ring the door bell?" he asked confused.

Because I'm socially awkward and your brother has been giving my major anxiety for years now.

"Well you see um, my friend and I were in a hurry and I better get going now so can you just give this to Josh for me? Please?"

"Anything for you." he winks flirtatiously.

Oh god.

"Thank you Connor!" I give him a tight hug and start walking away.

"Wait how did you know my name!" he yells.

"Lucky guess?" I yell back shrugging my shoulders. He doesn't need to know that I practically know everything about Josh and his family.

Connor's POV.

I watched as Emma made her way back to her car then drove off. Wow. She was gorgeous. And her body was just...Wow. Of course she would be here to see Josh. He always gets the pretty girls. The smile that was plastered on my face disappeared as I thought about her and Josh.

Slowly I made my way back inside with the wallet in my hand. I stop suddenly when my fingers felt a sticky note attached to the bottom. Instead of being a decent person that didn't invade privacy, I decide to read it.

Hi Josh. It's me Emma, if you even remember me. You left your wallet at my house and I just thought I would return it. Don't worry I didn't take anything. Thank you for ringing my door bell and making my night. I really needed it. In case you need to contact me (310) 232-2596 Maybe I'll see you again one day. xx ~Emma

"I really needed it." I read aloud. I wonder what she meant by that. Emma seems too good for Josh. I love my brother I do, but no one, and I mean no one wants to know me personally. People use me to get to him. I'm sick of it. I'm sick of being treated as the second best. But Emma, there's something about her. She clearly has the hots for him. I'm tired of him getting his way all of the time. I can't let a beautiful, bright girl like her get away from me.

"Hey Connor, who was at the door?" A sleepy Josh says walking down the stairs. His hair was disheveled and all over the place giving him a humorous appearance.

"No one important. Why are you up so early?" I lie as I stuff Emma's note into my back pocket.

"I have no idea just thought I'd run to the store then head over to pick my car up at the shop. Do you need anything?" Josh asks.

"No, I'm good."

"See you later then."

"Oh wait Josh! I found your wallet on the couch."

"Woah I could have sworn I left it...," he shakes his head. "Nevermind. Thanks Connor." he says as I hand him his wallet.

As soon as Josh walks out of the house I grab my phone and text Emma.

Connor: Hey Emma it's Josh thank you for returning my wallet. I hope we can catch up sometime ;)

Now that I'm 'Josh' let's see where this relationship goes...
