Mickey's POV.

"What's going on?!"

Oh my God. This is not happening. Not now.

"Mom um.."

"We can explain.."

"Well go on. Explain." she crosses her arms.

Eli looks at me and gives me a 'what am I supposed to say' look. I shrug my shoulders, knowing that the truth is just a few seconds from coming out.

"Mickey and I are dating."

Emma's POV.

The day is long and lonely without Mickey. For the past two hours I've just been laying here on twitter and thinking. Mostly thinking. Thinking about things like college, finding a job, and Josh. Yeah mostly Josh. I can't get over the way he makes me feel and how sweet he was last night. After he left, my parents were telling me how much they love him. I stare at the ceiling thinking about our... friendship. A smile finds its way onto my lips. I'm glad things are the way they were in the first place.

My phone beeps, snapping me out of my trance. I reach for it on my desk and unlock the screen. One new message. From Josh. Was he thinking about me to?

Josh: Hey Em, want to meet Connor and I at Starbucks? Bring Mickey along if she wants to come.

Emma: Yeah sure! Starbucks sounds awesome right now. Same one as last time right? Mickey isn't here actually so it'll just be me if that's okay

Josh: Same one as last time :) Of course that's okay see you then xx

Finally something to do! Oh shoot I need to get ready.

Josh's POV.

"We'll wait for her to get here before we go inside." I tell Connor.

We pulled up into the parking lot a few minutes ago. And a few seconds of sitting here is all it takes for me to start thinking about last night. It went perfectly. The way Emma looked practically made me lose my mind. That dress was just...wow. I'm so glad that Eli and Mickey were able to help me pull that off.

Her parents were so nice and Lily was the cutest little thing. She sure did know how to make things interesting. But the whole night was made when Emma forgave me. I can believe I told her that a girl made me do what I did. Hey, I wasn't lying. She's the reason why I did everything I did. I just don't want to force anything upon her until we try this whole friend thing out.

A few cars pull into the parking lot until I recognize hers. I pull my hat down further and fix my sun glasses before unlocking the door.

"Hey, she's here."

Connor looks up from his phone and looks out the window. He's surprisingly taking everything well. I told him what happened last night and he was happy for me. Unlike the way I reacted when I found out Emma and him were going out. But I guess weren't going out in the first place.

Emma steps out of her car looking beautiful as always. She's wearing an oversized green sweater which I find very attractive. Anything on this girl is attractive.

"Well let's go." Connor says. We both exit out the car.

"Hi guys!" Emma yells walking toward us.

"Hey." we both say.

"Thanks for the invite I was bored out of my mind."

"Thanks for coming." I say nervously.

"Connor why don't you have on a, you know disguise?" she whispers.
