Emma's POV.

"How does your nose feel?"

"Like crap." Josh says leaning against the counter.

"I'll get you some ice."

"No wait don't leave me. We can worry about my nose later." he pulls me into his arms.

"You are leaving in less than a week and your nose is blue, I'm getting you some ice." I insist.

"Fine." he pouts. He releases me and we walk downstairs to the kitchen. What are his parents going to think about all of this? This will surely add onto another reason why Josh's dad hates me. So much for trying. I look through the freezer and decide in the end to use a frozen pack of peas instead of ice for his nose.

"Here we go." I gently push the pack on his nose, making sure not to press too hard.

"Does it feel any better?"

"Yes actually."

"It doesn't seem to be broken." I say.

"Are you still mad at me from earlier?" he asks.

"I guess I'm over it. I just don't like violence."

"I know you don't. And I should have stopped myself from doing any of that. I don't see why you forgave me."

"I already told you."

"Tell me again."

"I don't want to lose you."

The biggest smile finds it way to his face. He leans in but I stop him.

"Hold the peas. Your nose is our number one priority right now okay?"

"Fine." he sighs. After a few minutes we decide to watch some t.v in the living room. Minutes later we find ourselves cuddled up watching Cheaper by the Dozen.

"Have you been on twitter?" Josh asks.

"No. I've abandoned it for now."

"Okay good."

I've been really nervous when Josh brings up Twitter. I don't want to get into all the drama surrounding us. But I'm even more nervous, and embarrassed, that he found out what mine is. I hope he didn't see all those embarrassing tweets I sent him.

"You know, I put in a lot of effort into finding your Twitter..." he starts. Maybe he didn't see my tweets?

"You didn't read my tweets did you?"

"You bet I did."

"Oh God."

He goes on about how funny the tweets I sent him were. And how he couldn't stop laughing at some of them.

"Stop making fun of me."

"I'm not. It was the cutest thing I've ever seen. I was so flattered. I promise you, I laughed out of love." he smiles down at me warming my heart. He tries to kiss me again but I stop him.

"Keep the peas on your nose. You're going to the hospital the first thing in the morning."

"Okay okay." he laughs but that quickly changes into a yawn.

"What time is it?" I ask him.

"Almost 12."

"Are you serious? I have to get home!" I hop off of the sofa and speed to the door.

"Emma-"

"I have to get home my parents are going to kill me!"

"Emma-"

"I'll see you tomorrow Josh! Thanks for the ride! Wait... Oh."

"You walked to work right?"

"Yeah. I don't have my car." I sigh in frustration.

"Just stay."

"No I can't. I'll just take the bus." I grab the door handle but he immediately pulls me away

"There's no way in hell I'm letting you take the bus this late."

"But my parents-your parents."

"My dad has a conference this weekend and my mom went with him. They won't be back tonight."

"But.." I try to think of something, anything, that would help me out of this situation.

"What are you afraid of? Stay, please."

"Okay." I hesitantly agree.

Is this a big deal? That I'm staying over at his house? I mean I have before but we weren't together. The thought of staying alone with Josh fills me with so many different kind of emotions. Mainly anxiety and nervousness.

"Are you tired?" he asks.

"No." I lie but a yawn escapes my mouth. He raises he eyebrows at me.

"Let's go to bed. You must be exhausted."

"I'm fine really." I wave him off.

"Then what do you want to do?"

"Watch t.v." I shrug trying to keep my eyes open by blinking rapidly.

"Okay, whatever you want to do."

Josh's POV.

Emma is knocked out within minutes on the couch. I'm not surprised, I probably tired her out from all the stupid mistakes I made today. She's so beautiful when she sleeps. I find it adorable that she was nervous about staying over. She still has on her Starbucks uniform that I absolutely love on her. Honestly, anything on her looks great.

"Emma.." I shake her gentle awake. Her eyes flutter open and for a second she's confused. Her eyes land on me. Those amazing green eyes.

"Yeah?" she says half awake.

"Come on let's get you upstairs."

She doesn't argue this time. I leave the melted bag of peas behind and walk with her pressed against my side for balance in her sleepy state. When we finally reach my door she stops.

"I can sleep in the guest room. I don't want to be a bother." she says.

"You're never a bother. Now let's get you inside before you knock out."

"Ok..okay." she stutters.

I open my room door and lead her to the bed.

"I'll get you some blankets."

By the time I come back, Emma is sound asleep. I smile to myself before placing a blanket on her. Her eyes open and I just can't stop looking at how beautiful she is.

"Thank you."she smiles.

"I love you." I say. Her eyes are half closed when I lean in towards her.

"Peas...nose."

"Screw it." I kiss her softly and she smiles before drifting off.
