Emma's POV.

The sound of light snoring wakes me up in the morning. I'm a very light sleeper. Josh must still be in a deep sleep if he's snoring. I decide to lay down for a couple more minutes before getting up. I don't want to disturb him but he has to go to the hospital.

When I turn over on the bed, I'm slightly surprised to not see him there. Where is he? I sit up and look around the room. I still don't see him. Suddenly his snores get a little louder. Is he on the floor? I lean over the bed and there he is.

His head is resting on his arm and he is straddling a pillow with his mouth slightly open. He's cuddling with it. I lean my head against the edge of the bed to take in his cuteness. Would he have held me like that if he slept on the bed? I feel horrible that he's sleeping on the floor in his own room. He looks so young and carefree in that moment, that I decide to take a picture. It comes out perfectly, he's perfect. I really don't want to, but I have to wake him up if he wants to get in and out of the hospital quickly today.

"Josh wake up."

No response.

"Josh." I get on my knees and lean over, and some of my curly hair falls in front of my face.

"Joshua!" I lean over a bit too far and plummet to the ground. I scream and land directly on top of him.

"Good morning to you too." his voice is deep and raspy. He has his hands on my elbows to keep me balanced.

"I was trying to wake you I'm sorry." I blush noticing how close we are.

"Best way to wake up." he smiles.

"Why did you sleep on the floor?"

"I didn't want to make you .. uncomfortable. You seemed nervous."

"I did?" he nods his head. Of course I was nervous I just didn't want him to think I was. I guess I'd never be an actress.

"You know you could have slept with me."

He bits his bottom lip to contain his laughter.

"Not like that, I mean in the same bed. You know asleep. Maybe I should stop talking now." I lay my head on his chest so he won't see how red my face is.

"I was fine sleeping down here don't worry." he pushes a few strands of my hair behind my ear.

"How's your nose?" I ask.

"Slightly better, there is still a bit of random sharp pains here and there."

"Let's get you to the hospital."

"Wait, can we just stay here for a little bit?"

"Okay." I don't argue this time. It feels amazing being in his arms. There's no other place I'd rather be. His slow breaths soothe me and I feel myself wanting to sleep again.

"I wish I could freeze this moment." I tell him.

"Did you just make a Catching Fire reference?"

"I sure did."

"You're going to love that movie." I smile to myself knowing that I'd love any movie that he's in.

The room is warm and I love that it smells like him. I don't know why but I find his smell extremely attractive.

In the distance I hear footsteps but I think nothing of it. That is until I hear Michelle's voice

"Josh, we're home." the door swings open and I immediately get off of him. His parents are back.

"What is this!" his dad yells.

"Here we go." Josh mumbles to himself. He takes my hand and stands up.
