They got to her room somehow - peeling clothes off of each other on their way. Hawk's shirt was ripped off and thrown to the stairs, Sky's pink sweats on the doorway of her room. By the time Hawk threw her on the bed, Sky was only wearing her panties - and the hungry look in Hawk's vast, blue eyes told her just how much he loved that sight.

"You're so fucking beautiful," he groaned, his eyes devouring her almost naked body, and the tone of his voice made Sky melt into the mattress.

"So are you."

That made him let out a dry laugh. "I'm not sure I wanna be called beautiful."

"Well fine, you're handsome then, and sexy as Hell," Sky said, even if she wanted to shout out that standing next to her bed, wearing nothing but his underwear, he was beautiful the same way Michelangelo's David was beautiful - perfect, flawless, striking.

She had seen the statue of David in Florence two years ago and spent a nice fifteen minutes admiring what was considered the most beautiful specimen of the male body in the history of mankind. Kat had been with them on that vacation, and their rude remarks about David's ass and his manly parts had shocked the museum staff so that they'd been thrown out - otherwise, they probably would've stayed much longer, because the sight really was quite nice.

They had laughed so hard that tears were running down their faces - and Dad had been outraged, so ashamed of their barbarous behavior that he had refused to dine with them that night. The girls hadn't minded that - they had happily eaten takeaway pizza on the balcony of their room as the unbearable heat of the day had melted into smooth, dark shadows. The next day they had both bought miniature versions of David from a souvenir shop.

Sky still had the statue, but after Kat's death, she had stuffed it into a box and hidden it in her closet - erased it from her life, like so many other memories that were too painful to bear.

Now, looking at Hawk, Sky wondered if she should find it, just for comparison. Because no matter that Kat would tell her she was stupid and blinded by love, Sky was pretty sure that the gorgeous half-naked boy in her room outranked David in every aspect of beauty.

The smoothness of his skin, the hardness of muscle underneath. His long, graceful limbs, his beautiful hands, and their slender fingers. The muscles and tendons of his neck, the sharp Adam's apple, the way it moved when he swallowed. And his face - it surely was like a work of art by the great masters of the renaissance - the high cheekbones, the sharp line of his jaw, the most beautiful eyes Sky had ever seen in her life. Even the scar only added detail and character to his looks. Whether he wanted to hear it or not, Hawk was beautiful, he was breathtaking, he was flawless - and Sky knew she could look at him for the rest of her fucking life and never get tired of what she saw.

"You really think that?" Hawk asked with a low voice.

"That you're sexy?" Sky replied. "Come here and I'll show you just how sexy I think you are."

His throat bobbed at that, the muscles of his jaw worked as he swallowed. He did as he was told, climbed on the bed, and crawled on top of her.

His skin was so hot against hers as if he was burning from inside out. His chest was heaving with rapid breaths and against her hip Sky clearly felt the super hard bulge in his underwear. Her mouth went dry with need.
