"Don't move." You whisper knowing the bear is probably just as frighten. After all we are in its home.
"Watch out." Tanjiro leaps in front of you protectively. The bear's thrashing it's head when it's tiny black eyes focus on him.
Grabbing his bicep muscle as you dig your nails into him. Whispering right into his ear. "Please. Tanjiro trust me."
"No. A bear attacked my Father and I." His hand already reaching for his weapon.
Attempting one final plea to stop the fight, "If you don't bother it-"
"This is my country. You need to trust me." His stern voice feelings powerful. The dominating tone hushing you as he pulls the axe free and prepares to battle the beast.
The bear stands up onto two legs at the aggressive movement and lets out a massive roar. Tanjiro stumbles back, pushing your back against a tree as he stand protectively in front of you.

"Cubs." You whisper with excitement as you lean forward pushing your chest against his back. Stretching your face over his shoulder as your cheek brushing against his face. Smiling as you watch the two young bear cubs.
They waddle after their Mother. A modern day saying rushing through your mind.
