Chapter 79 - Reality

Regarding y/n's family options in last chapter; I want you to pick the one that best fits you. I have wrote this arc in a way that whichever option you choose will fit the wording I use in the story.
To give different perspectives for each Reader. It wasn't meant to be a vote but to give you all a better connection to y/n.
Think of it as how I use e/c for eye color instead of saying her eyes are __brown__. It helps you feel like y/n. Do this with the family options. Hope that makes sense.

The fight drags on as you try to stay close to Tanjiro fearful that somehow one of you will be dragged through time and separated from the other.

It's tencale crashes against you throwing you down the street. Tumbling against the harsh pavement. The wind knocked right out of your lungs but force yourself back up. Desperate to return to the battle. Not wanting to be away from Tanjiro.

You notice a little girl standing in the road with tears rolling down her face as she stares up at the monster. A vehicle tumbling through the air is about to crash into her.

Running faster than ever before as you just barely save the child from certain death. Looking over your shoulder to see Tanjiro struggling against the demon. More gunfire from the police officer booming through the air.

"Run to safety!" You tell the child before taking in a deep breath and preparing yourself. Pushing the earth away as you sprint forward.

Star breathing:
Seventh form - Obstructing Nebula

Like a shooting star blasting between the cars as you hurtle down the street. Ready to crash into the demon with a powerful attack. Cutting deep into the monster.

The demon's countr-attack swinging directly for you when you hear Tanjiro scream out,

"Hinokami Kagura!"

He attacks the demon with all the strength left within him. Fire crashing into the monster ripping his body open. You are right behind him using another star breathing form. Your blade is an inch from making contact when the demon completely vanishes.

Feet sliding against the black pavement as your star breathing fades. Tanjiro is at your side immediately he is gasping for air from overworking his body. Quickly you slide and arm around him to help him stand easier.

Both comprehending the demon's disappearance. Leaving only damage  behind from the battle. The fight is over but the realization hits you harder. 

Leaving the two of you stranded in the modern era. Without that demon here you can not return back to the past.

Looking to Tanjiro who is also realizing the same as a tear rolls down his face. You don't have time to comfort him as the police office points the gun directly at you, "Don't move. Hands where I can see them!"

"W-what is he saying?" Tanjiro asks in Japanese. This is when you grasp the fact that he can't speak English. He is the foreigner in this country.

Looking deep in his eyes before shouting in Japanese, "We need to run!"

The gun fires but the two of you dodge the bullet easily. Moving faster than an average human. Taking shelter in an alleyway.

Tanjiro Kamado POV

Looking around the fancy hotel as y/n speaks in English to try to get a room using our yen. The money we have earned from Demon Slaying. My hand resting over my wound from being stabbed by the train conductor is throbbing.
