"Well, this is unfortunate, master, mistress." Started Sebastian "To think, all this happening after the case was closed. I'm sure you are a bit... annoyed." Sebastian teased your brother who sat next to you with a frown. "Are you quite finished?" Ciel asked
"Where is Angela?" Sebastian questioned the servants along with the wind that whispered against the windows "We left her resting up in her bed for now. She seems tired, yes she does." Mey-Rin answered with a nod, "It's too pitiful to watch, the poor bird." Bardroy added.
"This village isolated itself completely from the rest of society out of fear of the demon hounds curse." You stated "He was covered in bite wounds. Maybe the villagers are right. Maybe it really was the demon hound." Bardroy suggested
"Maybe he's upset at being blamed for Lord Henry's misdeeds." Said Mey-rin "Yes, maybe. For now there's only one thing we know. It wasn't human." Sebastian concluded. "The hound, then."
You were waiting for Sebastian to finish dressing Ciel for bed so you could go to sleep when Sebastian suddenly asked "Is something the matter?" "It's about what you said earlier- how you phrased it. What you said was 'This wasn't human work.'" Ciel spat out.
"What if that bloody reaper has gotten himself involved in this?" He questioned "It seems you're learning faster every day. I'm at very proud of you, sir." Sebastian answered as he finished dressing Ciel and stood up.
"But there is no need to worry. I believe Mey-rin's thought was not wholly incorrect. The hound was after Lord Henry." He continued as he picked up Ciels clothes from the floor and out them up in the closet. "The demon hound was after Lord Henry. I don't believe anyone else is in danger of becoming its victim."
"That's not enough information for us to close the case." You a acknowledged as you lifted up the cool covers to lay underneath them. "Ah, such loyalty to your queen. Quite touching, really." Sebastian responded
"That's not it. At least, not all of it. You're usually so calm and steady, but this case seems to have you rattled. I'm interested about this issue you have with dogs." Ciel teased
"Hmm. As I said you learn faster everyday."
"For today's tea, we have a cabinet pudding. It was made using local blackberries." Sebastian introduced as he set down your tea and snack. "Hm, you're certainly relaxed." Ciel commented
"Because we are in hurry, sir." Sebastian retorted and not even a second later Mey-Rin busted through the door calling for Sebastian. "SEBASTIAN HURRY!"
"What is the matter this time? Do calm down please, you'll worry the mistress." Sebastian stated calmly not expecting anything unusual. "We've looked all over but we can't find Angela!" Finny exclaimed "Oh is that all? Yeah don't worry about it, she said there were some medicinal herbs growing down by the fen. She went there to go pick some up. That's all." Bardroy answered
