"A vicar eh? How nice." Arthur complimented as Woodley protested. "We can't trust him just because he's a vicar! Only a thirteenth man could have committed the murders, and he has no alibi. He's our culprit!" Woodley accused Jeremy as he pointed at him. "Unfortunately, that is utter nonsense, Mr. Woodley. I am terribly sorry." Jeremy denied as Woodley's eyes went wide. "How do you know my name? Who are you?" He demanded to know as Jeremy chuckled. "Didn't you just introduced him as Jeremy Rathbone?" You asked your brother and you leaned toward him with a raised brow. "That man is a fool, pay him no mind." He replied as you nodded and stoop straight again.

"That ring you're wearing gives the game up, I'm afraid. From it, I deduced your identity. A diamond so large and of such a distinctive cut leads to but one conclusion. You see, the 'round brilliant cut' as it is called, can only be achieved with new equipment recently developed by the Woodley company. And I hear the London gem dealer Daniel Anderson has been describing it as a rarity and not yet available on the open market." He explained as you nodded to himself at his deduction skills.

"Among the guests lord and Phantomhive invited to their dinner party who would have the means to possess such a singular ring? The answer is one man. Karl Woodley. Thus, such must be your identity. I am not mistaken, am I?" He revealed as he took Woodley by surprise. "If we can move on, how did you come here? For that matter, why did you come here?" Arthur asked the vicar. "Bursting with questions, aren't we? You there, sir. Yes, you with the cigarette and goggles. Set my bag down and open it." Jeremy ordered Bard as he did so to reveal a sleeping owl. "Oh! That's the owl Sebastian gave me!" Mey-Rin exclaimed

"I've drugged him to keep him asleep, but yes. If either of you would kindly take a look at that letter, my lord, my lady." Jeremy requested as you picked up the owl and coddled it while Ciel opened the tube and took out the paper inside and looked at its contents. "Please tell us, what did Sebastian say?" Mey-Rin asked as you took a look at the letter as well and turned your head away as Ciel crumpled it. "Yes, he would do this. Evidently he arranged for the owl to carry this note to Jeremy because he had somehow predicted his own death." He explained

"As far as I'm concerned, it doesn't matter what's on the bit of paper. It isn't enough to prove he's not our killer." Grimsby exclaimed as Jeremy hummed. "Perhaps if you inspect my coat pocket...?" He suggested as Finny dug inside it to pull out a ticket. "It's for a play! I think- a ticket, it looks like." He said "What's the date?" You asked "Yesterday. It's for the evening of twelve march. Gimmie a sec. It says the name of the theatre. Ly-lyce the Lyceum theater and the play was, uh..." Finny had a hard time pronouncing it as Jeremy answered.

"It was a performance of 'The lady of the lake'." "That seems correct, at the very least I can confirm that the Lyceum is running 'The lady' now." Irene confirmed "It was past the ten o'clock hour when the show ended. Even if I'd given the driver a sovereign, the trip here would have taken two hours by hansom cab. Although, on second thought. It would've been twice that in this storm, I should think." Jeremy assumed as you placed the owl back down into the bag and lightly tapped its beak.
