"The Sharingan Revived: Dragon-Flame Jutsu!"

"After a protracted battle with the mysterious ninja posing as Shiore, Sasuke traps Shiore and uses the Dragon Flame technique to incinerate his attacker. However, Shiore is still alive with his face partially melted off, revealing part of his true face. After extending his neck to inflict Sasuke with an unidentified mark, the ninja introduces himself as Orochimaru. Burning the scroll he possessed, Orochimaru leaves while promising that Sasuke will look for him in the future. Anko eventually finds Orochimaru, revealed to be her former teacher, and unsuccessfully tries to kill him while learning that his target is Sasuke and that any interference in the Chunin Exams to remove the youth from the proceedings would end terribly for the Hidden Leaf Village."

Analysis

Although Sasuke used the Dragon Flame technique against the enemy, it was ineffective. However, it revealed the enemy's true identity, who is called Orochimaru. After his identity is revealed, he inflicts a curse mark on Sasuke, and he is confident that Sasuke will look for him in the future. Therefore, there is a foreshadowing of events in the sense that this scene hints at what will happen later on in the anime series. Moreover, Orochimaru is aware that Sasuke will look for him in search of power to defeat the unnamed person who killed the Uchiha Clan. What will happen to Sasuke since he has the curse mark? We will find out later on. This leaves the audience with a sense of curiosity about what will happen next and influences them to stick around and continue to watch the anime, Naruto.

Orochimaru proves to be a huge threat to Hidden Leaf Village, where he is the antagonist who will pose a problem against Naruto, the protagonist, in the future. Meanwhile, when he fights with his former student, Anko, he reveals that his target is Sasuke. This further makes the plot intriguing, as one wants to know what he wants with Sasuke. Moreover, since Orochimaru is Anko's former master, it explains why he knew the secret of sealing the nine-tailed chakra from Naruto's body. He is a former member of the leaf village, and since he is causing problems, he is a rogue ninja. Therefore, it makes one think about his reason for leaving the leaf village. Moreover, after Anko heard about Orochimaru's plans, the situation became more complicated. In other words, if they remove Sasuke from the Chunin Exams, it would end terribly for the Hidden Leaf Village. Lastly, since Orochimaru is not going away anytime soon, it is safe to assume that he is one of the most evil villains in the Naruto anime series.
