Analysis
The element of fear is evident throughout the episode. Gaara proved to be extremely dangerous when he killed a team of Rain Genin. Despite Team 8 hiding behind the bushes, Gaara knew they were there. If it wasn't for his siblings, Team 8 would have been killed as well. Moreover, Akamaru could sense that Gaara's chakra was powerful and deadly, which is why Akamaru was trembling with intense fear. This further proves that Gaara's power is gruesome.
Moreover, Gaara's team proves to be the strongest shinobi. For instance, they beat the previous record for getting to the tower by a gigantic margin without getting hurt. Moreover, we are left in suspense about what will happen next until the next episode.
The lesson from this episode is that one should not judge others by their appearance. If the team of Rain hadn't underestimated Gaara and decided to fight Gaara, they would probably have still lived.
