"Ebisu Returns: Naruto's Toughest Training Yet!"
"Naruto reluctantly agrees to train under Ebisu, and Ebisu tries to teach Naruto how to walk on water. As Naruto practices, Ebisu catches an old man (later revealed to be Jiraiya) spying on a women's bathhouse. As Ebisu rushes to apprehend him, Jiraiya knocks him out with a single hit, leaving Naruto without a tutor."
Analysis
Naruto begins his training with Ebisu. For instance, Ebisu tries to teach Naruto how to walk on water, but Naruto is struggling to do so. Moreover, we are also introduced to a new character in this episode called Jiraiya. He is presented as dirty-minded and a pervert because he was spying on a woman's bathhouse. When Ebisu attempted to intervene, that's when Jiraiya knocked Ebisu out with a single hit, which shows that Jiraiya is a skilled ninja. However, it could also be argued that Ebisu isn't exactly a skilled ninja since he was easily defeated by Naruto when he used the Sexy Jutsu. It makes one wonder: what is Jiraiya's part in Naruto's journey of training for the Chunin exams? Who is he? This will be revealed later on.
Naruto is without a tutor. What will happen next? We are left in suspense, which makes us very curious.
