"Despite using a powerful healing technique, Kabuto's wounds are too extensive for him to deal with. When Naruto collapses due to the severity of Kabuto's last attack, a strike to Naruto's heart, Tsunade does what she can, determined to save him and his dream of becoming a Hokage. Her efforts work, and he regains consciousness long enough to claim the necklace he has won in the bet. Orochimaru, recognizing Naruto as a potential future threat, tries to kill him. Tsunade, determined to make sure Naruto becomes Hokage, overcomes her fear of blood and uses herself as a human shield to block the attack. When asked why she would risk her life to save him, Tsunade replies that it is her duty as the Fifth Hokage, finally accepting the role she was offered. Intending to eliminate his former teammates, Orochimaru summons Manda, while Tsunade and Jiraiya summon Katsuyu and Gamabunta, respectively."

Analysis

Despite using a powerful healing technique, Kabuto's wounds are too extensive for him to deal with. When Naruto collapses due to the severity of Kabuto's last attack, a strike to Naruto's heart, Tsunade does what she can, determined to save him and his dream of becoming a Hokage. Although Naruto has defeated Kabuto, Kabuto hits his heart using the chakra from his medical jutsu. It happened while Naruto hit him with the Rasengan. Therefore, there is a sad atmosphere when Naruto collapses due to the severity of Kabuto's last attack. Due to this sad experience, Tsunade is reminded of the past when she lost her dead brother Nawaki and her lover Dan, hence why she uses her powerful healing technique to heal Naruto. From my point of view, Naruto has become another person she truly cares about because he is a reminder of the ones she cares about, Nawaki and Dan, which makes the scene emotional as it is supported by emotional music playing in the background. As a result, she is determined to save Naruto and his dream of becoming Hokage because he is very similar to Nawaki and Dan. In other words, their dreams of becoming Hokage lay in Naruto's hands since they were all determined to become Hokage. Tsunade sees Naruto as more than just a Genin but also her little brother, hence giving her the courage to fight against Kabuto.

Her efforts work, and he regains consciousness long enough to claim the necklace he has won in the bet. Kabuto believed that Naruto was dead, which is why he told Tsunade that it was pointless to save him. However, Naruto is still alive, and since he hasn't forgotten about the bet, he claims the necklace. After witnessing this, Tsunade is glad that Naruto is alive, which again gives her the strength to protect him; hence, Naruto has become precious in Tsunade's eyes.

Orochimaru, recognizing Naruto as a potential future threat, tries to kill him. Tsunade, determined to make sure Naruto becomes Hokage, overcomes her fear of blood and uses herself as a human shield to block the attack. There is also a foreshadowing of clues that might happen later in the plot. For instance, Orochimaru mentioned something about Akatsuki's plans to capture Naruto, which brings out the mystery between Orochimaru and Akatsuki. What happened between them? Why is Orochimaru no longer a part of the Akatsuki? Is there bad blood between them, and if there is, why? Why did Orochimaru try to kill Naruto? All of these unanswered questions are one of the reasons why there is another anime, Naruto Shippuden, where all these questions will be answered. 

When Tsunade uses her body as a shield to protect Naruto, it shows that she has the will of fire. The will of fire means protecting something or someone precious to you. Therefore, Naruto is precious in Tsunade's eyes. The will of fire has been shown many times in this anime. First, the third Hokage risked his life because he had the will of fire to protect the Hidden Leaf Village. Second, Naruto had the will of fire to protect his friends from Gaara. Last, the people of Hidden Leaf Village had the will of fire to protect their village. Therefore, the term "the will of fire" is one of the most important terms in this anime. When one has the will of fire, one becomes strong enough to protect what is precious to them.

When asked why she would risk her life to save him, Tsunade replies that it is her duty as the Fifth Hokage, finally accepting the role she was offered. Tsunade has overcome her fear of blood. Tsunade has a mark on her forehead known as the healing mark, which reveals a lot more about Tsunade's skills as a sannin. For instance, the healing mark is a special jutsu where Tsunade can store her chakra and use it in the future for healing purposes. In this case, all the wounds she has started to heal themselves, which means that Orochimaru can't kill Tsunade. Therefore, the healing mark is one of the reasons why Tsunade is the legendary sannin. It's a unique technique that only she possesses in this anime, which is why Orochimaru is shocked about the jutsu. As a result, this compelled him to resort to summoning jutsu to fight against Tsunade and Jiraiya.

Intending to eliminate his former teammates, Orochimaru summons Manda, while Tsunade and Jiraiya summon Katsuyu and Gamabunta, respectively. Things have just gotten interesting. The three legendary Sannin showdowns leave us in suspense until we watch the next episode, where we get to see the showdown. The next episode is going to be epic.

The lesson from this episode is that everything happens for a reason, just like when Tsunade first met Naruto. He later became the reason why Tsunade found the strength to accept being the fifth Hokage and her fighting against Kabuto and Orochimaru.
