A bomb had gone off.

They didn't know where specifically, yet, or who specifically was involved, but a bomb had gone off involving a black SUV and they needed to get to a command centre.

Emily and Delilah followed detective Brustin in their car towards the command centre, Delilah's phone pressed to her ear while Emily had an earpiece in and was trying to get in touch with anyone from the team.

Delilah was trying to call Evie.

She'd disappeared for an errand almost two hours ago, now, and Delilah hadn't had so much as a text from her. Delilah didn't think she'd planted a bomb, but her disappearing act was concerning Delilah.

What could take priority over a fucking bomb right now?

But Emily's phone rang a moment later, and then Delilah's. They accepted the calls, Delilah putting her phone to her ear.

"Evie? Where are you?" Delilah asked.

"Heading to a command centre. Where are you?" Evie asked.

"With Emily following Brustin to a command centre. We don't know where anyone else is," Delilah said.

"I've got Penelope and Morgan on here," Emily said.

"Patch us in," Delilah said.

"Pen, patch Evie and Lilah into the call."

"Can you guys hear me?" Penelope's voice came over the phone.

"Loud and clear," Delilah said. "Is my dad okay?"

"He and Reid called me," Penelope said.

"Has anyone talked to JJ?" Delilah asked.

"She was headed back to the hotel," Emily said.

"In an SUV?" Penelope said.

"I think so," Emily sighed.

Delilah's stomach sank.

"Stay with me a minute. I'll dial her mobile," Penelope said quickly.

After a few rings, JJ's voicemail tone hit their ears.

"This is Agent Jareau, communications director for the FBI's Behavioral-" the message cut off.

"What was that? What happened?" Morgan asked.
