Game 30: Yakuji

YAKUJI'S POV:

"ARE you sure about this?" David looked at me with a serious face after he reads the envelope I handed him.

We are currently outside the rooftop where we are staying. This kind of conversation is an important one so we can't let other people heard about it.

Before we fly to Indonesia, I recieve some threats under Asher's name. I don't know who's behind those letter but I have an idea who sent it.

"What do we expect? It's not new to us to recieve those kind of letters that contains about death or be killed. But since McKenna is involved maybe we should tell about it to Thud."

Asher and Astaroth are the younger one's inside our group but Asher is the most likely a hard headed one and acted like a child. Minsan pinapatulan din ng kakambal niya sa pagiging isip-bata.

I can't blame those twins because they're only sixteen years old but they are already in college and took up a course about criminal justice that we can use in the future.

"Let's just ignored it and focus on the game, Yakuji. This will be a big comeback for Howl and welcome party for Fumiko, Aries and Bugoy." He said.

When Aries told us about the Fuse Flight competition in their place, we didn't think twice to join in because David and I was bored at that time. And I wasn't expected that they have a female companion to join the game and I must say she got my attention when she turn the table and bring the group to the championship and bagged the crown.

Not in a romantic way though.

Although, Fumiko is a beauty and intelligent when it comes to strat and game play but in reality I treat her as my little sister.

And I can't let my emotion devoured my sanity because that's one of the forbidden feeling that bids inside our world; a dangerous world indeed. David, Asher and I didn't tell the truth who we really are to Fumiko, Aries and Bugoy because this is not the right time to talk about it.

Howl is just a front for us and we are using Fumiko, Aries and Bugoy for our mission.

And that mission is the Fuse Flight competition inside the international pro league. May mga balita kasing nakarating sa amin na merong illegal na nangyayari sa laro at yun ang gusto naming imbestigahan.

Hindi talaga totoong rason ang pagpapahinga namin ng dalawang taon sa pro league at ang pagka baklas ni Fuentes sa grupo. Isa lamang 'yong malaking kasinungalingan.

Pwede naming gawan ng paraan ang ginawa ni Fuentes na parang walang nangyari lalo na't nasa amin ang pinaka-genius sa mundo ng techonology; si Thunder Clyborne Dierkshed. Pero hindi namin ginawa dahil kasama 'yon sa plano. At ngayong babalik na kami, sisiguraduhin naming matatapos ang misyon na ito nang walang palya.

"Fine. Let's just forget about it and focus on the game. This game is one of their dreams so while we are using them, we can let them to use us too to reach for their dreams."

We're not that kind of a monster to use other people but since we are inside this kind of world and I know if Fumiko finds out about this, she will mad at us but I don't care about it. All we could care is our mission and nothing else.

Bumalik na kami ni David sa loob ng hotel at saka kami dumiretso sa hotel room na tinutuluyan namin. Pero agad kaming nagtaka nang marinig ang komusyon sa loob ng suite namin kaya agad kaming pumasok. Nadatnan namin si Aries, Asher at Bugoy.

Aries is holding Asher's shirt while Bugoy is trying to stop them. Basag din ang ilang gamit maging ang center table. Silang tatlo lang ang nandito sa sala at mukhang tulog ang iba pa naming kasama.

"What the hell are you doing?" I hissed when I saw how they messed up the room.

Mapapatay ako ni Trev kapag nalaman niyang nawasak ang pinakamamahal niyang pent house dito sa Indonesia.

"Itong lintik na ito ayaw lubayan si Fumiko!" Nanggagalaiting sambit ni Aries at saka pabalibag na binitawan si Asher. Muntik pang mabuwal ang gagu kung hindi lang nakontrol ang sariling katawan nito.

Hindi halatang minor si Asher dahil sa tindig at pananamit nito at isa pa he's rich as fuck as I am and David. And he's a good fighter too.

Kung papatulan niya si Aries ngayon, baka gumising na lang itong nasa hospital or worse he fell into coma.

"What's wrong if I stick my ass to Fumiko? She's not even complaining of me being clingy towards her. Boyfriend ka ba?" Sarkastikong sagot naman ni Asher.

I just massage my temple because of their nonsense arguments. Asher is just being him and not the other way around. Baka hindi magustuhan ni Aries kapag naging seryoso si Asher at takbuhin niya ang hotel na ito para lang makalayo sa gagung ito.

"She's still a woman for fuck sake and I do care for her! Learn to respect and not to touch her."

"You can stop me for what I am doing until Fumiko said so."

Umangat ang isang kilay ko nang humalukipkip si Asher at pabagsak na naupo sa mahabang sofa. His bruises is still visible and I think he wants to add more from Aries's fist.

"Aba't gagu ka ah!" Akmang susugurin ni Aries si Asher pero agad itong pinigilan ni David kaya naman napabuntong hininga na lang ako.

"Stop it you two if you don't want to go back in the Philippines this instance. And you McKenna, quit being a child like idiot and act like a mature grown-up man. We will face a mobile game competition later and I want your cooperation. As for you Aries, learn to understand his attitude because he's only sixteen years old. I am not tolerating his actions toward Fumiko but please understand. He grow up without a mother's love and I think he's just being friendly towards Fumiko since she's the only woman he talked to for his very existence."

Natahimik si Aries at mukhang nagulat ito sa sinabi ko. Aries and I were friends since we were kids because of our parents and I know he understand what I mean about Asher's condition. Kapag ganitong naiinis o napipikon si Aries, kailangan ko na siyang pagsabihan because he treats me like his older brother and he only listen to what I said. Alam niya kung saan siya lulugar.

Aries let out a sigh. "Sorry, I didn't mean to. It's just that Fumiko is all I care while we are here."

"Dalawa tayong may gusto kay Fumiko, pare kaya kumalma ka." A dangerous gaze from Aries landed to his friend named Bugoy but he's just smirking and shrug his shoulder as if he's enjoying teasing Aries.

"I will forget that this happen." I said in final before I fished out my phone from my pocket and dialled the hotel's room service. "Can you please clean up the mess inside Trev's pent house? Don't worry I will tell to him what happened and I replace and pay all the damage. Thank you."

I thought I will take care about our mission but I think these people needs my presence too. Hindi pa man nagsisimula ang laro pero sumasakit na ang ulo ko dahil kay Asher at Aries.
