Lin Ran and Mo Shuyu left the house together, with Lin Ran opening the door in front and Mo Shuyu following behind, watching Lin Ran's back.

Soon, the security door was opened. After Mo Shuyu came in, Lin Ran quickly closed the door.

Seeing the messy living room, Lin Ran felt a bit embarrassed and said, "I'll quickly tidy up the room; otherwise, you won't have a place to sleep tonight."

"I'm with you, aren't I?" Mo Shuyu mumbled softly, then blushed and asked, "Should I take a shower now? Wait for me a bit."

Lin Ran was taken aback for a moment and quickly said, "No, we should get to work first. Otherwise, if we sweat later, the shower will be wasted."

"Are you sure?" Mo Shuyu's face turned even redder, her eyes darting as she looked at Lin Ran.

Lin Ran nodded, "Yes, I'm sure."

"Okay, then let's go to your room first," Mo Shuyu said softly, the blush spreading down her neck.

Lin Ran, although a bit puzzled, opened the room door. Anyway, Mo Shuyu and her family would need to take a shower later, and the water recycling system was only installed in Lin Ran's room. The bathroom outside had been sealed off with glue.

Mo Shuyu followed Lin Ran into the room. Seeing that Lin Ran wasn't making any moves, she reminded, "Aren't you going to be more proactive? Do I have to take the initiative in this?"

"Oh, okay," Lin Ran nodded, thinking she needed to start organizing the room and moving supplies. Using her space would make it faster. With that, Lin Ran left the room and began organizing the supplies in the living room so there would be space for the things from Lin Zhongsheng's room.

Mo Shuyu was stunned. She didn't expect Lin Ran to just leave. She followed her out in a daze, asking, "Is this what you meant by being proactive?"

Lin Ran nodded, "Yes, I've already started working. Isn't that proactive enough? What are you talking about, Dr. Mo?"

Mo Shuyu's eyes widened, "At my place, you said working?"

Lin Ran nodded calmly, "Yes, what else? Let's organize these things so the room has space for the stuff from the other room."

Mo Shuyu didn't hear a word Lin Ran said after that. Had she misunderstood? Lin Ran didn't mean what she thought?

Mo Shuyu's face turned even redder. She quickly squatted down to help Lin Ran organize the things. As she did, the pill bottle in her jean shorts pocket fell out and rolled to Lin Ran's feet.

Lin Ran glanced at the bottle and was about to pick it up when Mo Shuyu lunged at her, causing Lin Ran to fall over and miss the bottle.

Mo Shuyu grabbed Lin Ran's shoulder with one hand and reached for the bottle with the other. Once she had the bottle, she sighed in relief and quickly helped Lin Ran up, "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine. I was just going to help you pick it up. Are you feeling unwell? What medicine is that? I have some common medicines from the hospital if you need any," Lin Ran said, sitting up and looking at Mo Shuyu.

Mo Shuyu's ears turned bright red, and she mumbled, "It's not important, just regular vitamin C tablets."

"Oh, that's good then. I have vitamin C at home too, so if you run out, just ask me," Lin Ran said with a smile.

Mo Shuyu, however, couldn't smile. Now it seemed that Lin Ran had been polite and respectful towards her all along, without any intention of taking advantage of her. It seemed she had misunderstood, always thinking about what she had promised Lin Ran in the hospital.
