Lin Ran and Mo Shuyu had just reached the first floor, where the number of zombies was greater than on the second and third floors. As they exited the elevator, many zombies noticed them and rushed towards them.

Lin Ran's katana made a beautiful arc in the air as she swiftly cut down the zombies, one after another. It was no exaggeration to say that killing level 1 zombies was now effortless for her.

In no time, a pile of zombie corpses surrounded Lin Ran, and she had killed most of the zombies on the first floor. She then sheathed her sword and, together with Mo Shuyu, headed towards the supermarket elevator. As they passed a display case, Lin Ran's gaze fell on a diamond ring shaped like flower petals set in a platinum band, which looked quite attractive.

The display glass was already broken, so Lin Ran discreetly stored the ring in her space, thinking it might be useful for a future proposal.

They quickly reached the elevator leading to the basement. The elevator entrance was cluttered with various objects. Seeing the mess, Lin Ran kicked the pile with force, sending the items flying far away from the elevator with a loud noise. Some even rolled down the elevator shaft, creating quite a commotion.

Fortunately, Lin Ran had just cleared out a wave of zombies on the first floor, so the zombies from the other floors weren't quick to arrive. Lin Ran and Mo Shuyu proceeded down the elevator to the basement.

The basement supermarket was dark, with no lights, and the deeper areas were almost invisible. Lin Ran took out a previously purchased outdoor flashlight and shone it into the supermarket, revealing that the entrance was tightly barricaded with chairs and tables.

"It's barricaded so tightly, there might be people inside. Be careful when we go in," Lin Ran whispered.

"Okay," Mo Shuyu replied softly, as people tend to be more cautious in the dark.

Lin Ran didn't bother to slowly move the tables and chairs. Using her right leg, she kicked them forcefully, toppling them with a series of loud noises and creating an entrance to the supermarket.

As Lin Ran and Mo Shuyu entered through the gap, Lin Ran sensed a gust of wind approaching from her left.

"Watch out!" Mo Shuyu shone the flashlight, revealing a figure.

Before Mo Shuyu could finish her warning, Lin Ran quickly dodged the attack from the left and countered with a kick, sending the attacker crashing into the tables and chairs. The man gasped in pain.

"Don't attack! I'm human, not a zombie," the man hurriedly said. Another figure emerged from the darkness to assist his injured companion.

"Stop fighting! We're all humans here. We thought zombies were invading, and we didn't mean to attack you," the crew-cut man explained, seeing his friend in pain.

Lin Ran paused, considering the explanation reasonable given the darkness in the basement.

"Alright," Lin Ran said, uninterested in further interaction. She and Mo Shuyu had come to the supermarket mainly to find more formula for Mo Soft, and given the nutritional shortages in the apocalypse, Lin Ran planned to take as much formula as possible for everyone to consume.

With this in mind, Lin Ran and Mo Shuyu continued into the supermarket, using their flashlight. The nearest section was beverages and drinking water. Lin Ran took two bottles of electrolyte water, handing one to Mo Shuyu. After a long session of gathering supplies, she was quite thirsty and quickly finished her bottle.

As they moved further inside, they found plenty of packaged snacks like chicken feet on the shelves. Lin Ran stored them all in her space.

Soon, they reached the formula section, which had both infant and adult formula. With a thought, Lin Ran cleared the shelves into her space, though there wasn't much left. There were still over four square meters of space available.
