The haunted house was very well-hidden. Lin Ran and Mo Shuyu searched the park twice before finally finding it in the southeastern corner of the park.

In front of the haunted house was a dense forest, which explained why Lin Ran had not noticed it before.

As they walked into the forest, the sky grew darker. Suddenly, a figure darted out from the trees, holding a chainsaw and glaring menacingly at Lin Ran and Mo Shuyu.

Lin Ran recalled the first rule of the amusement park, which stated that the park would confiscate any weapons carried by visitors and that visitors were prohibited from killing each other.

This meant that the weapons she had taken from her space might be used to their advantage, and since killing between visitors was prohibited, it implied that visitors could act against the park's staff.

Thinking this, Lin Ran summoned a Tang sword in her right hand and stared coldly at the chainsaw man.

The man seemed surprised that Lin Ran had a weapon. He stared for a moment, then sneered at Lin Ran and Mo Shuyu, "You think a crappy sword will be enough to deal with me? How laughable."

As he spoke, the man charged at Lin Ran with the chainsaw. Lin Ran blocked with the Tang sword, and in the next moment, she suddenly exerted force, striking the chainsaw with the sword. The chainsaw was sliced, leaving deep grooves, and fell from the man's hand.

Lin Ran's Tang sword did not lose momentum and slashed toward the man's neck. The chainsaw man's eyes revealed a look of terror.

"I'm a staff member! You can't kill me, you can't kill me!"

In the next moment, the man was already lying on the ground.

Lin Ran looked at him and said calmly, "The rules didn't say you can't kill the staff."

With that, Lin Ran and Mo Shuyu proceeded towards the haunted house.

The haunted house staff, seeing Lin Ran and Mo Shuyu, had a noticeably troubled expression and spoke with a hint of caution, "How did you find this place?"

"Following the rules. Your rules are full of traps," Lin Ran replied, looking at the staff member.

She continued, "Well, can we enter the haunted house now?"

"Are you sure you want to enter the haunted house? It's getting dark soon, and it's not safe inside," the staff member in a gray uniform warned.

"Really? I think it's more dangerous outside. Move aside; we're going in," Lin Ran said, her gaze icy.

Reluctantly, the staff member opened the small door to the haunted house and gave Lin Ran and Mo Shuyu a sinister look, "Don't think this will help you survive."

Lin Ran merely glanced at him and ignored his words.

She and Mo Shuyu entered the haunted house. Inside, the light was dim, or rather, there was no light at all.

However, Lin Ran had a space with her. She took out a flashlight for herself and gave one to Mo Shuyu.

In the endless darkness, the range of the two flashlights was very limited, barely illuminating a few meters in front of them. The rest remained in deep darkness.

A gust of wind blew, possibly knocking down the wind chimes hanging in the haunted house, creating a series of crisp sounds, as if something was silently approaching Lin Ran and Mo Shuyu.

Lin Ran's long sword reappeared in her hand, and Mo Shuyu held a card. With a thought, the pan with the Buddhist characters etched on it appeared in her hand.
