Meanwhile, Mo Shuyu opened her eyes to find herself near an attraction called the Mountain Train Ride. Like before, she also received the amusement park's guide.
Her eyes were fixed on the sixth rule: If a staff member in a blue uniform gives you the rules, do not trust them. But the paper she just received was handed to her by a staff member in a blue uniform. Some of the rules seemed contradictory.
About twenty meters away, two researchers in white lab coats also received the guide. Being more analytical, they too noticed the conflicting rules and were discussing them.
Mo Shuyu reviewed the rules again, frowning slightly. Her gaze fell on Rule 4, which stated that three attractions must be completed to leave. But with conflicting information, she wasn't sure whether to follow these rules.
A staff member by the Mountain Train Ride noticed Mo Shuyu standing there for a long time and asked, "Would you like to take a ride on the train?"
"I'll decide later. I want to observe first," Mo Shuyu politely declined, leaning on the outer railing, listening to the sounds of roaring and screaming. An inexplicable sense of unease gripped her.
Unhappy with her refusal, the staff member in the gray security uniform stared at her coldly, as if looking at a dead person.
Mo Shuyu returned the gaze, noticing that the guard's eyes were cloudy, with white sclera showing as his eyes rolled upward. His face was caked in thick makeup, pale as a corpse.
Suddenly, Mo Shuyu felt something tugging at her pants. Her heart sank as she looked down to see a small child, no taller than her thigh, clutching her trousers.
The child's face was pale, and blood was streaming from her eyes. She grinned eerily at Mo Shuyu, "Auntie, can you take me on the train ride?"
Though the girl's voice was childlike, the expression on her face sent chills down Mo Shuyu's spine.
Just then, a scream came from behind Mo Shuyu. She turned to see one of the researchers in the white lab coats burst into a cloud of blood.
Like Mo Shuyu, the two researchers were also surrounded by children. A small boy next to the remaining researcher laughed maliciously at the gruesome sight, the sound sharp and filled with malice.
The surviving researcher, an alpha male, was terrified. His companion's blood and flesh had splattered all over him. He collapsed to the ground, paralyzed by fear, scrambling backward on his hands and knees.
In the next moment, the small boy appeared in front of him again, as if by magic. "Uncle, my friend's question was answered, but you haven't answered mine yet. Will you take me on the train ride?"
The man's sanity had been shattered by what he'd just witnessed. Desperately nodding, he stammered, his voice trembling with fear, "Yes, I'll take you. I'll take you."
"Good! Hehehe." The boy giggled, sounding pleased, as if he'd heard something funny.
At the same time, the little girl tugged at Mo Shuyu's pants again, this time with clear impatience. Large patches of skin peeled away from her face, revealing blood and flesh beneath. Her round, bloodshot eyes stared intently at Mo Shuyu, as if waiting for her to show fear.
"Auntie, you haven't answered my question."
Mo Shuyu gritted her teeth, staring at the girl. Having spent time with Lin Ran and fought against terrifying zombies, Mo Shuyu had grown accustomed to facing gruesome horrors. The eerie amusement park was trying to scare her, but she refused to give in.
