Moments later, Lin Ran found herself in an amusement park. The sky was bright, and the park was filled with laughter, just like before the apocalypse.

Lin Ran frowned as she surveyed her surroundings. Just as she was about to walk down a nearby path, a staff member in a blue uniform blocked her way. He smiled at Lin Ran and handed her a brochure. "This is the guide to our amusement park. If it's your first time here, it's best to follow the rules in the guide."

Lin Ran took the brochure and saw several rules listed:

Amusement Park Rules:

For management purposes, all weapons brought by visitors will be confiscated by the park.

Visitors are prohibited from killing each other during their visit.

No loud screaming on any rides.

If you see a staff member wearing orange, avoid them immediately.

Each person must complete at least three rides to leave the park. There is no main gate in the park.

The only exit is at the Ferris wheel. If a staff member in a blue uniform gives you a rule guide, do not trust it.

There is no haunted house in the park.

If you encounter one, seek help from a staff member immediately.

Leave the park by 6 PM.

Lin Ran stared at the rules, deep in thought. The sixth rule was problematic. If it were true, she shouldn't follow any of the rules on the brochure, since it was given to her by someone in a blue uniform. This meant some of the rules were contradictory.

Lin Ran frowned slightly. Which rules could she trust, and which couldn't? She'd have to figure it out as she went.

Suddenly, the sound of something cutting through the air came from behind her. Lin Ran dodged just in time to avoid being hit. The attacker was Cheng Hang, the captain of Lin Zhenguang's personal guards.

Cheng Hang glared at Lin Ran. "Lin Ran, where did you hide the Colonel and Dr. Li? What kind of place is this?"

Lin Ran smiled at him. "A nice place, don't you think? It's almost like before the apocalypse. Why don't you try out some of the rides? You might be in for a surprise."

With that, Lin Ran turned to leave, intending to gather clues while searching for Mo Shuyu.

But Cheng Hang attacked again. Lin Ran dodged and intentionally let Cheng Hang hit her.

Cheng Hang, thinking he had successfully struck Lin Ran, smiled.

Lin Ran's lips curved slightly. The first rule stated that killing was prohibited, but injuring or maiming didn't count as killing. With that in mind, Lin Ran kicked Cheng Hang. She held back, using only half her strength, but Cheng Hang still collapsed, coughing up blood.

Two staff members nearby glared at Lin Ran, but she smiled at them. "Relax, he's not dead. At most, he's just got a few broken ribs."

With that, Lin Ran curiously walked toward the roller coaster. A long line had already formed, including a soldier in uniform and a researcher in a lab coat. They seemed to be waiting to ride the roller coaster.

A staff member in a gray uniform coldly looked at Lin Ran. "Are you here to ride this?"

"I'm just checking it out." Lin Ran didn't give a clear answer. The roller coaster above roared into action, with screams echoing through the air. Blood sprayed into the sky, and a few drops landed on Lin Ran's face.
