"Miss, since you're taking these five people with you, you should leave now. I have no objections. As you can see, the rest want to stay here," Lightning said to Lin Ran.

Lin Ran nodded. If they didn't want to leave, there was nothing more she could say. "Alright, the door to the parking garage is locked. I need to take them out first, and then you can lock the door after we leave."

"Fine," Lightning assigned two people to follow Lin Ran and open the door. Soon, the group reached the door connecting the supermarket to the parking garage, and a short-haired man unlocked it with a key.

Lin Ran led Liu Nanyan and the others into the dark garage, illuminating the space with a flashlight until they found the nearest car. Lin Ran pried open the driver's door and hot-wired the car, a skill she had picked up in her previous life as a bodyguard.

As the car roared to life, nearby zombies noticed them. Lin Ran quickly got out of the car and instructed Liu Nanyan and the others, "Get in quickly. One of you who can drive, head towards Third High School."

"Alright, let's go," Liu Nanyan said, taking the driver's seat while her colleagues hurried into the car.

Lin Ran then smashed open another car's door, started it, and called out to Mo Shuyu, "Get in."

"Okay," Mo Shuyu replied, climbing into the car. She then asked, "Aren't we using the motorcycles?"

"The motorcycle is too loud. It could attract a lot of zombies. Plus, we need to drop them off at Third High School, so it's better to drive the car," Lin Ran explained.

Mo Shuyu nodded, understanding.

Lin Ran shouted to Liu Nanyan's car, "Follow me and drive out of the garage."

"Got it!"

With that, Lin Ran floored the gas pedal, turning on the headlights and plowing through a few zombies that had approached. Without stopping, she accelerated, quickly leaving the zombies behind.

Following Lin Ran's example, Liu Nanyan urged her passengers to stay calm and quiet, "Everyone, don't panic or scream. Staying here is more dangerous."

"Yes, we'll definitely make it to Third High School safely."

"Right."

Lin Ran led the way, with Liu Nanyan keeping pace, even though a few zombies latched onto their car windows, they were soon flung off by the accelerating vehicle.

Before long, Lin Ran reached the opposite side of Third High School, and military personnel there began providing cover fire against the zombies surrounding their cars.

Lin Ran stopped at the back gate, with Liu Nanyan pulling up right behind her. Fully armed soldiers approached them, one of whom recognized Lin Ran and Mo Shuyu, "You two again?"

Lin Ran saw that it was the same soldier they had met last time, "Yes, it's us. We've brought back some survivors from Wanfuxing Supermarket. Could you help register them and take them to the shelter?"

"Of course," Fang Shaojie replied with a smile. Soldiers were already helping Liu Nanyan and her group into the shelter.

Lin Ran nodded, "Alright, we'll be leaving now."

"Wait, aren't you two going back to the shelter?" Fang Shaojie asked in confusion.

Lin Ran smiled, "Not yet. We need to find some more friends. Thanks."

As Lin Ran and Mo Shuyu prepared to leave, Liu Nanyan hurried over to thank them, "Miss Lin, thank you so much for bringing us here. We really appreciate it."
