Lin Ran quickly got out of the car and used her Tang sword to eliminate the dozen or so zombies surrounding the minivan. She then went back inside the building before making the motorcycle appear out of thin air.

In the apocalypse, caution was crucial. Lin Ran didn't want anyone, not even the people from building 9, to know the secret of her motorcycle. After all, the military still had some strength, and Lin Ran didn't want to be captured for research. Keeping a low profile was better.

She rode her motorcycle out of the building, drifting skillfully to the front of the minivan. With a couple of honks, she sped forward.

She didn't use her mechanical arm but relied on the momentum of the motorcycle to break through the zombies, clearing the way for the minivan behind her.

Lin Ran charged ahead on her motorcycle, while Mo Shuyu followed closely behind in the minivan. Mo Shuyu drove steadily, constantly accelerating and occasionally flooring the gas pedal to shake off zombies clinging to the windows. With only Lin Ran and Mo Shuyu's vehicles on the road, Mo Shuyu had complete control over how she drove.

Wang Wuyang and Ye Li clung to each other. Seeing Mo Shuyu driving so fiercely, Wang Wuyang couldn't help but feel impressed. Not just any omega could stay by Lin Ran's side. He used to think Mo Shuyu was just someone who needed Lin Ran's protection, but now he realized he was wrong.

"Everyone, hold on tight. We're about to turn," Mo Shuyu called out, sharply turning the steering wheel to throw off a few zombies.

In front, Lin Ran seemed to merge with her motorcycle, drifting and crashing continuously to clear the road of zombies.

Their community was close to the No. 3 Middle School, only two streets away. Soon, Lin Ran could see the school in the distance.

Of course, the soldiers guarding the entrance to the school saw them too.

The captain on duty at the main gate of No. 3 Middle School was a capable female alpha. Soon, a lookout ran over to report, "Captain Li, someone is riding a motorcycle towards us, with a minivan following behind. They're heading our way."

Li Jingyi took out her binoculars and looked into the distance. Sure enough, she saw a strikingly purple motorcycle heading towards the main gate.

"Tell the team to be ready. When they get close to this street, provide cover fire to suppress the surrounding zombies so the survivors can get through safely," Li Jingyi instructed.

"Yes, Captain Li."

After giving these orders, Li Jingyi looked through the binoculars again. She saw the woman on the motorcycle recklessly crashing into zombies, actually managing to clear them out of the way.

A few minutes later, the soldiers on the wall started shooting the zombies around Lin Ran and her group, easing their burden.

With a smooth drift, Lin Ran brought her motorcycle to a stop at the entrance of the shelter. Mo Shuyu followed closely, parking the minivan as well.

Lin Ran got off the motorcycle and opened the minivan door. "We're here, everyone. Get off the car."

Wang Wuyang and Ye Li were the first to get off. Seeing the military personnel, they were moved to tears.

"We really made it. It's really the military. We're safe now," Wang Wuyang said, almost crying.

"Yes, yes. Sister Lin, thank you and Dr. Mo so much," Ye Li said, tears streaming down her face.

"It's nothing. The shelter is relatively safe. They have water and food. Just settle in and take care," Lin Ran said, helping Granny Qian and He Baoping out of the van.
