The man on the podium immediately turned cold, glaring at Lin Ran. "What's going on?"

Lin Ran returned his cold gaze. "Nothing. This student had a little accident."

The male teacher sneered at Lin Ran. "Wang Kun, take Zhang Xu to the school clinic. Lin Ran, find an empty seat and sit down."

Lin Ran walked into the classroom, and all eyes locked onto her, filled with malice as if they wanted to tear her apart.

She glanced at the few empty seats in the classroom. The male teacher stared at her, his mouth moving incessantly, "The two seats at the front are for Wang Kun and Zhang Xu. You can only choose the two seats at the back."

Lin Ran turned to the teacher and asked, "Why? Are there new students coming?"

The male teacher's lips curved into a strange smile, "Yes, Lin Ran. You'd better choose your seat quickly."

Lin Ran walked to the middle of the classroom, with everyone's gaze seemingly fixed on her. She quickly glanced at the two seats: one was empty, and the other was cluttered with books and unknown trash, looking very messy.

Without much thought, Lin Ran walked to the seat with the books but didn't sit down immediately.

The rest of the class seemed to be waiting for her to make a fool of herself, watching with anticipation.

The male teacher frowned, seemingly puzzled why Lin Ran didn't choose the clean desk, "Lin Ran, why aren't you sitting down? Can you bear the responsibility of delaying the lesson?"

Lin Ran smiled at the teacher, "No rush, I'll be ready soon."

Her front and back desk neighbors cast malicious glances at her, their gazes blatantly scanning her.

In the next moment, Lin Ran kicked out, sending the boy in front of her flying.

"Lin Ran, you're courting death!" The boy's once-round face quickly morphed into a twisted monster. He reached out to grab Lin Ran.

With a thought, Lin Ran's Tang sword slashed down on the boy's arm. She even took a few steps back, avoiding the blood that splattered everywhere as the boy's arm was severed.

Lin Ran coldly looked at the boy, "Next time, if you dare look at me like that again, it won't just be your arm."

Seeing the front desk boy's arm severed, Lin Ran tapped her back desk's table with her Tang sword, "You, clean up the desk and chair. If you don't, I can't guarantee where my next slash will land."

"Teacher, look at Lin Ran," the boy said, a mix of anger and fear in his eyes.

Mr. Liu almost revealed his true hideous face beneath the human skin but held back, "Lin Ran, don't be too arrogant. Leaving this school isn't easy."

"Really? I haven't attended a class in a long time. I'm quite looking forward to it." Lin Ran then placed her Tang sword against the neck of the boy behind her, "I told you to clean up the desk and chair. Are you deaf?"

The boy, Yu Sijie, glared at Lin Ran with malice. The Tang sword pressed forward, drawing blood. Panicked, he began cleaning up the desk and chair, while Lin Ran sat down in his seat to rest.

The boy in front, whose arms were severed, had already gone to the infirmary. Mr. Liu gritted his teeth, staring at Lin Ran. She calmly looked back, reminding Yu Sijie, "Hurry up and clean it thoroughly. Otherwise, your hands will be useless."

"Alright, Lin Ran, don't mess around. I'll clean it right now," Yu Sijie said, his monstrous form showing. His head was swollen, one cheek rotting and caving in, and white maggots crawling on his face.
