Tonight's show was the last one in Paris and Taylor's 87th show in total. Travis was going to watch it from the stands with Ross and Gigi who had arrived this morning. They had some lunch together and now Taylor was preparing for the show while the others found their spots up in the stands. She had picked out Cheifs colors for the 1989 set today and wanted the surprise songs to be about Travis as well. There was something about having him in the audience even if she couldn't see him against the bright lights as far away as he was. She knew he would still sing along and dance and so her eyes made hearts during pretty much every love song.

Travis enjoyed seeing the show from another angle again and of course, he felt that too. That she was sometimes singing just for him. When she then came out in red and gold for the era that held his favorite song "Blank Space", he felt goosebumps and sang along happily. Taylor knew that he liked to see it when she showed the world who she belonged to. Because he was proud to be with her and this was just proof of how happy she was with that. "So High School" later pretty much captured how he felt right at that moment. The giddiness and love were almost overwhelming as if her archer arrow actually hit him.

Soon enough it was time for the surprise songs and when Taylor mentioned that it was the 87th show today, Travis grinned widely. He hadn't known that and that she mentioned it meant that she very well thought of it. Then she started to play "The Alchemy" on her guitar and Travis practically melted. The red lights were everywhere and she sang right up at him even though she probably couldn't see him. It was so special. "Treacherous" was the mesh-up song for this and it fit so perfectly. Gigi smiled noticing how enchanted Travis seemed to be and even Ross grinned over his buddy.

Travis thought she'd play the other mash-up for the fans now that the first one was so much for him but she played "Begin Again" and mixed it with "Paris". Especially after their well-spent morning, Travis blushed about the lyrics of the song named after this city. God, he was so in love with this woman. If he could just find pretty words like hers, he would tell her even more often than he already did. Watching his "mermaid" then dive away under the stage made him shake his head about himself. She had his heart. Fully. "Great to be at a show with you. No heartbreaking surprise songs", Gigi noted when the Midnights set started. Travis just smiled at her. He knew from listening to TTPD that her friends had been worried when she had still been with Joe. Hearing this validation tasted really sweet.

After Taylor had teased him for days with how she thought the new bodysuit for "Vigilante Shit" was even sexier than the others, Travis was anticipating the song more than ever. He knew that he was by far not the only one finding this performance to be fucking hot but he had never been jealous. And Taylor just sang him one love song after the other tonight, so he knew for sure that he didn't need to be. It was more of a sense of pride in him watching her take the stage with her best confidence. He was the only one in this stadium of people who would wait for her backstage and then kiss her and hold her for the rest of the night. He still couldn't deny that the cutouts of this new body suit were indeed pretty damn hot. Now he had seen videos of it and also a performance in person but he was also excited to see it up close.

Somewhere during "Karma", he made his way down and around the stage waving fans and collecting a few bracelets. "Karma is the guy on the Cheifs coming straight home to me", he heard and waved at the stage even though her attention was somewhere else right now. He then quickly disappeared under the stage. Taking the towel that was waiting for her and a bottle of water, he waited patiently for the applause to end. When she left her lowered platform, she scanned her surroundings for the towel but her eyes found him and she immediately had a big smile on her face. "You were amazing! It was so much fun! And I will tell myself that you did the Cheifs colors on purpose and that mention of the 87th show", he told her handing her the towel so she could wipe her sweat a little. "You don't have to tell yourself. I can tell you. And I hope you got the message with four surprise songs too", she rambled excitedly and obviously still on adrenalin. Travis hugged her softly tracing the skin that the cutouts of her new body suit showed. She shivered slightly due to how cold his fingers seemed against her heated skin.

"Can I take you out now? Gigi and Ross will wait at the hotel restaurant for us. They wanted to get changed first too though, so don't stress", he told her silently while still holding her close practically feeling her calm down. "Take me out, take me home?", she giggled looking up at him. "If the hotel counts as home, yes", he chuckled before kissing her. So she took a sip of water and then they got going to soon meet with their friends for a little after-show chat and some food. Later that night, Taylor decided that Travis had to see the Eiffel Tower today. Or tonight to be precise. He thought she was too excited, impatient and maybe a little tipsy but she was just the only one of them knowing that they would be on a trip to Italy tomorrow and there wasn't much time. So they stood there on the street admiring the big tower glowing in the dark night. Her security stayed a bit behind because there wasn't too much going on at this time of day.

"Trav", Taylor began. "Hm", he just let her know that he was listening even though he continued looking at the buildings around them. "I have a surprise for you", she told him and immediately his attention was fully on her. "You know, we have a few days for us now but... I mean everyone would know we're here if we stayed. And I know you don't care but... I want to have some alone time. Real alone time", she explained. "So?", he asked curiously. "I thought Italy was nice", she said making him look at her in disbelief. "I... rented a house... mansion if I'm honest and... there's a lot of space around, so we should be mostly alone. For the next few days", she finally let him know. Now that she had said it, she was insecure about it. What if he thought it was too much? Or if he wanted to see more of Paris? "You rented a mansion in Italy?", he wanted to make sure he understood. Taylor nodded hesitantly. "If you don't wanna go...", she started but he instantly shook his head and silenced her with a soft kiss.

"I'd go everywhere with you and a place for some alone time in Italy sounds perfect", he said. "One condition though", he added making her look up. "You don't pay for everything we do there", he demanded making her breath out relieved. "Deal", she agreed and got on her toes for another kiss. "Can I take you back now? I guess we'll leave a little earlier tomorrow", he asked. Taylor nodded to both of these things and let him lead her back to the car. They went to bed soon and slept a good night before they would meet with Tree for breakfast the next morning.
