Sooner than they both wanted, Travis had to leave for training camp. He had already packed his bags and they decided to cuddle for the last hour that they had together. Taylor had been really silent since she woke up and Travis knew it was because he had to leave. A month was long and she was scared that it would change something between them or that she couldn't handle missing him and might slip back into old habits. "I got a little something for you. Two actually", Travis decided that it was the right time now. Taylor sat up a little to let him get what he was talking about. "First, this little friend", he handed her an adorably soft crochet cat that looked a little bit like Benjamin. Taylor giggled and cuddled the kitty close to her chest. "That's so cute. And so soft!", she noticed. "Just so you don't have to also miss cats totally", he joked making her laugh a little. "I'd probably love a crochet version of you to cuddle too but that's a little creepy maybe", she sighed making Travis laugh now. "C'mere", he chuckled and hugged her again. "I'll leave a shirt for you, okay? You probably stole some already but I can give you one too", he mumbled making her blush because she actually did steal a hoodie earlier. "Not sure if it's gonna last till I can come back", she sighed still hiding in his arms.

"It's not forever, Tay. A month is long but not as long as it feels like right now. I promise you'll be home sooner than you think", he said. "And until then", he added giving her the second gift. A small voice recorder. Taylor looked at him confused. "Press play", he told her and so she did. "I love you, Allie", it played in his voice making Taylor smile and tear up at the same time. "You should never forget", he smiled softly brushing a stray tear from her cheek. "I love you too, Trav", she sighed and pulled him in for a kiss. "We need to call every possible day and text all the time", she mumbled. "We will. I'll try to get a single room this year and we can have FaceTime calls all the time. Maybe we can cook together so you don't have to eat pasta all day every day", he suggested jokingly. "Maybe", she half-agreed and hugged him again. She knew this was dramatic for only one month but their love lived from hugs and kisses. Little affectionate moments. Stealing glanced when they were supposed to work.

"And I want you to take the weighted blanket with you too, okay? If it helps, just take it with you to the stadium or whatever. Noone will judge you, you know that. Your team is full of kind people", he said hinting at the grey blanket over at one of the chairs. "Yeah", she agreed again. "Oh, I forgot to ask you, have you tried ASMR? Like when you come back from a show? The times I talked you to sleep", he remembered what he wanted to know. Travis had spent a lot of time lately researching what could help her in the different situations he had helped her with over the past few weeks. "It's hard to find the stuff I like but yeah. Sometimes", she told him surprised that he knew it and didn't seem to find it weird. Because at first thought, it was strange to see and hear people whisper and make random sounds. "Okay. So you try that when you think it could work?", he asked. Taylor nodded again. She hadn't used ASMR in a while but maybe she should try it again to fall asleep. Sometimes it was just hard to come back to an empty hotel room after a three-hour show and not let your mind spiral while trying to go to sleep.

"Any more tips from my personal support boyfriend?", she wanted to know with a little chuckle. Travis laughed too still holding her against his chest. "Not yet. But I did some research, you know? Just because I wanted to help. I hope that's okay. I know, I'm not a therapist or something. I'm just trying to be a good boyfriend", she explained. Taylor smiled up at him. "You are the best, Trav. It's really sweet that you try to find all the ways to help me with my mess of a brain", she said letting her forehead fall against his. "I love that brain. It comes up with pretty songs and somehow it decided to love me", he joked making her giggle. "It did", she agreed and kissed him again. "I love you", Taylor whispered before kissing him softly. They kissed and cuddled until Travis' alarm went off warning him that he had to go. Her driver also knocked on the door shortly after. "I'll miss you all the time. And I love you. What do you do when you need to hear that?", he asked when they stood at the door in one last hug. "I call you or use this little recorder thing", she chuckled before kissing him again. "I love you too. Listen to certain songs if you need to hear it", she smiled but then he really had to go.

With a sigh, Taylor closed the door behind him. A month. For a whole month, she'd have to somehow cope with this ache in her stomach. The ache of missing him. She looked over at her bed where the crochet cat sat. He was the sweetest for coming up with all these small, inexpensive but meaningful presents and ideas. Taylor knew that he'd probably send her more because he had done it before. Just small things like her favorite chocolate or flowers and sometimes more expensive things like jewelry. The recorded "I Love You" was the cheesiest yet but she found it cute.
